Acosta thought about Victoria's question. "This is war... but I pray they all come back alive." She left for her drop pod and secured her gear and herself in the pod. She closed her eyes and silently prayed to whatever was out there, she prayed the corpsman's prayer, she prayed for her team, and for her squad as the pods launched. Acosta watched the pods in descent to their destination. There was a complication and Truman's pod crashed into a building. Acosta was helpless to save him, he was dead. Hopefully the others would having a better time with the drop. Acosta's pod crash-landed and she took a few moments to recover, she hated this. Securing her gear she opened the hatch and stepped out of the wrecked pod. She immediately went straight to cover, she was out in the open, who knew what enemy was out there. She was on Stevens Street. "Got seven or so covies here, didn't get a good look to tell what they were, landed right next to them. I'm in the alleyway connecting Posement Avenue to Stevens Street, I might need some assistance, over..." Sergeant Archer's voice chimed in over radio. He was very close, and she was already on the way to back him up. She sprinted in five second bursts, and bounded up to where Archer held his position. "I've got your six, Sar'nt," the corpsman told the Marine as she backed him up clearly seeing the enemy he was talking about. There was six or seven of them alright.
