Ba'al looked over the diverse group with growing interest as more and more people roused from their slumber to find themselves in this strange place. A near babble of talking arose, and it seemed that no one had answers here, some lashing out angrily while others just sat around in some sort of stupor. Then there were the embarrassing ones, like the guy who ran over and face planted on the ground while shouting. It did succeed in earning a chuckle from Ba'al in terms of silliness, but that hardly mattered here. A man came over, with blond hair and wearing an overabundance of red, asking loudly as to whom had mentioned Earth. Ba'al knew that to be him, since he had been the one who spoke, and he approached this man, all while planning. They weren't from the SGC, none of them were, so if he twisted the truth somewhat to make them trust him more, no one could call him on it, and he wouldn't be able to break the subterfuge because he would remember what he had added to the deception already. "I did," he replied boldly, stepping forward. "I am Ba'al, Supreme Commander of the Goa'uld Star Empire. Earth was my destination before I was swept away to here, but this, this is like no place I have ever seen on that planet. And given that I appear to have come alone, leads me to believe that we have been swept up by some powerful entity, perhaps the Ancients, and deposited in this place."
