Bio: Melanie was born, along with her twin sister Alice, to the Youngs. Melanie was always the more dominant, competitive twin while Alice was the sweeter, more docile twin. Because of their extremely different characteristics, their relationship was strained through most of their life. When they got into Highschool, they both joined the cheerleaders which irritated Melanie. This caused their competitiveness to get even more heated. When both joined the popular clique, Alice was the voice of reason in the group and showed a good majority of the popular clique the error of their snobby ways. This didn't change Melanie however, and just made her more bitter along with the queen bee of the school, Janice. Melanie and Janice joined forces to sabotage Alice at any chance they got. Schoolwork? Setting Alice up to fail by feeding her the wrong answers to questions. Social graces? Planning pranks that would embarrass Alice at every turn. Romance? Well, Melanie was always good at getting what's she wanted. If Alice showed an interest in a guy, Melanie would sink her hooks in as quickly as possible. And with her open and aggressive nature, this wasn't hard for her. Their entire rivalry finally came to a head when Melanie tried to sabotage Alice at a game, causing her sister to break both legs, ruining her cheerleading career. It was then that she finally realized that she was doing something wrong in hating her twin sister. Because of this, Melanie dropped out of cheerleading in Highschool and decided to rejoin in college. During the time between Highschool and college, Melanie and Alice decided to take Taekwondo together, adding more muscle and self-defense to themselves added to their already toned acrobatic figures. Their rivalry was gone, but tension still persisted between the two sisters; mostly from Alice feeling heartbroken that Melanie would do some of the things she did and Melanie actually feeling genuinely apologetic and guilty for all the things she did. Melanie is currently trying to achieve a degree in business, while also participating in cheerleading in college alongside her twin sister. She still holds an aggressive and vain attitude but shows genuine care for others now, hoping to someday atone for her mistakes. Her competitive nature, however, could possibly re-spark when she becomes a Power Ranger, for better or for worse.
