Parker's willingness to help earned him a few points if nothing else, even if Fuyuki would have preferred the matter to have been tactfully ignored. He had never been particularly sensitive about his muteness, but being physically weak was a handicap he was not proud of. The expression of mixed embarrassment and gratitude he gave was not feigned for once. 'Thank you, Parker-kun. Or would you prefer Kyle?' Kyle... Kae-ru... Frog. He wondered if Parker knew what his name meant in Japanese, but left that particular witticism unspoken; somehow Fuyuki doubted that it would be appreciated. 'In that case, please call me Fuyuki or Yuki if you want.' He wondered if perhaps he was laying the girlishness on too heavy, especially with Mizukimura present, but went with it anyway. She seemed the time to accept him anyway so he doubted that the blind girl would call him out on it. The other girl, Hanari, had turned up as well and with a start Fuyuki recognised her as the brocon from the other day. With her little brother absent she appeared markedly less cheerful. Silence fell for a moment once everyone was seated, presumably as everyone took stock of one another. Half of the group were transfer students after all and none knew the others particularly well. Unsurprisingly it was Mizukimura who broke the spell with that sickeningly sweet voice... Fuyuki likened it to listening to honey dropping from a comb and not in a good way. 'Let's. I think it was page sixty-four? Something about...' He paused in his typing as he realised that he did not in fact have a clue what they were doing. Perhaps paying attention every so often would be worthwhile. 'Hanari-san? What was the assignment again..?' IF he had been assigned to any other group, he would have simply let them get on with it, adding little tidbits here and there. However these three were unknown factors; for all he knew they could be as useless at science as Fuyuki himself.
