Um... the point of that is that it's enough force to flip more than ten tons of metal like it's nothing. It's not a collateral damage thing, it was a sheer raw power one: the engines on a 747 lift nearly 500 (short) tons between the four of them.

The official thrust (since wing shape plays a large role) per engine is 33 tons each, on the new models. See the issue?
