Personality: A bit quiet and very studious, Sonja prefers books to human company. Even though he might seem a bit cold at first, he can actually be a very nice person once you get to know him. He tends to be nicer to his friends than to other people, though, and can be fiercely loyal. 

His favorite classes are language classes, and he sometimes just reads through entire dictionaries when he’s bored. It’s a habit he picked up from when he was younger.

History: Sonja as actually raised as the only son of a pretty well-off family. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to spend a lot of time around his parents when he was younger because they were often busy. He started turning to books for company as a result, eventually starting to see more of the printed pages than other people. 

He discovered his powers on his own while on vacation one summer during one of the days when his parents let him spend the day at the beach alone. He never told his parents about his odd experience, but they did find out about his impressive multilingual ability at some point later on. They just figured that it had to do with all the reading he did, though.
