"Everybody quiet!" Asher hissed all of a sudden. He froze and tilted his head, listening very carefully. He sensed another presence in the room, something unseen, a faint but distinctly odd smell. His eyes swept the room but detected nothing. Then, the faint squeak of pressure on linoleum tile. He whipped his head around, but saw nothing but hospital equipment. Squinting didn't seem to change his perception, but…

He sniffed. There was definitely something there near the wall by the door, just a few feet away from where Ray was sitting. Asher made eye-contact with him, then looked to the space where he thought he sensed the… thing, and then back, eyeing the other boy's makeshift weapon. Slowly he side-stepped to the small table beside Cassy's bed, and in one swift motion snatched the glass of water from it and hurled it at the empty space. The plastic cup bounced off of some invisible object, spilling its contents which ran down said object, giving it a phantasmal, watery outline. The creature let out a blood-curling shriek, enraged at its discovery, and lunged toward its assailant: Asher.

"HOLY SHIT-FUCK!" David shouted as something became visible after a plastic cup was thrown at it, courtesy of Asher. It was ethereal, only able to be seen because of the shimmery outline of the alien. Davids ears rang as the Cloaker screamed, lunging to Asher. To others, it would have just looked like Davids eyes were moving rapidly. To David, however, time slowed down.

He looked at potential weapons around the room, different plans and strategies, different courses of action. He decided to take one of the chairs and, as it finally got on Ashers, slam it into the aliens head. The helmet on its head proved stable however: The chair dented. No mark on the aliens head. However, the hit disoriented the alien, giving Ashers some breathing room.

Ray screamed a wordless shriek, completely unnerved by this... this banshee that had been sneaking up on him. He reflexively recoiled at the sight and could only stare in horror as it moved towards Asher. David hit it in the... head, or something, making the... thing more visible briefly, and apparently dazing it. With some effort, Ray worked up enough courage to let loose a warcry and charged the thing, or it's last location, with his knife. He ran into something which didn't appear to be there and the blade of his knife disappeared and started oozing this nasty purple goo. Was it alien blood? Ray didn't have time to think about it when his knife flew out of his grasp and he felt a hard blow to his gut fling him against a wall. The last thing he thought before hitting the wall and blacking out was If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Cassandra squealed as the hell-shriek of the alien echoed through the small hospital room, reverberating through her head and starting a headache she didn't need. She shifted backwards in fear, whimpering in pain, her stomach muscles stretching and contracting.

After David hit it with a chair and Ray stabbed it, it slammed its assailant against a wall, leaving a small crack in the once pristine whiteness, making Cassy gasp from her shock locked position atop her ruffled sheets.
