He made sure to stay near Artemis and Abby, his ears pricked up for anything that the English speaking girl might say. Cyril wasn’t sure about what was going on—there were two strangers that had appeared, and one of them spoke about an assassin. Then it seemed that the Guardians were fretting over who was the assassin. Abby seemed to take a liking toward the girl, but… Cyril thought that she was a bit too… shady. Edgy. She’s been researching Dying Will Flames? What kind of girl researched Dying Will Flames? What if she was just making up the part about the assassin? Cyril took a step closer to Abby, and attempted to shove the girl away from the Sun candidate. ”How do you know she isn’t the assassin? Maybe this is all a ruse? Because that boy knows nothing about the mafia game that we’re playing.” he explained to Abby. ”Not to mention that she’s getting a bit too close to you. If she’s the assassin, then the game’s over for you.” he didn’t want Michael to know about the mafia. And because they had made it seem like they were playing a simple game, he decided that he should play along. It was better to play stupid than make it seem like they were lying. Fionn however, felt pity for the girl. He frowned at Cyril, tipping his head to the side. ”Instead of pointing fingers, why don’t we actually think about this first?” the blond thought that they were jumping to conclusions too quickly. He had lived in Wales for most of his life, and thus he knew a bunch of English. This girl was hinting that the other boy was the assassin, but he didn’t seem like an assassin to him… he just seemed incredibly lost. Then again, the girl looked terrified. But who were they to trust? It wasn’t as if the assassin was going to make a move right then and there—they would have to keep an eye on the both of them for a while.
