After working with the plants for a while, Runo sat down to take a quick break. The smells coming from the bakery made him almost wish that he hadn't eaten breakfast at home today, but perhaps he could find an excuse to pop in there later in the day. He could say that he was getting something to bring home to Kiro. Yeah, he could do that. 

Looking over at the tiger lilies in the garden he was working in, he couldn't help but feel just a bit sad. How long had it been, now? A year? Maybe a bit longer than that. Sighing to himself, he stood up and went back to work. He couldn't let himself get upset about the past right now.
