Wandering Fool Aeternus || Nexus Sleepy Leaf Bridge --- Only a three hundred gold reward for defeating eight players... It sounded good on the outset, but there was that question- was the gold distributed per party, or per player? If it was per player, the reward would be almost too much, despite quest difficulty. Per party made more sense. But on that same thought.... if ten people took down the eight, then each would only get thirty gold. He sighed, strolling out of town. Even looked at that way, it was a decent sum. Such a pain. Apparently a few people had agreed to meet up for this around this time, according to the woman. Not that he intended to be dependent on anyone for support. This was eight people. In a regular MMO he wouldn’t have blinked at the idea of taking them on, but in this one you could die. Dying was a poor life choice, along with doing drugs and drinking. Better get this over with. The seen Jeremy walked into was an interesting one. A girl telling off a bunch of armed players while she had not a weapon in hand, and then a boy ran up yelling about bullies. But... Where was everyone else? Useless. He paused a second allowing the boy to finish his speech, and then approached the group from behind, in time to see people dropping. “Woah now, a lady like you shouldn’t stoop to their levels.” He shook his head sadly and approached her side, careful to stay away from her front, or the feathers. “Just look at these poor players, how can you blame them when you made the first move?” Three of the players had dropped, and one was swaying. This could work- intimidate the others, make them feel weak. Jeremy turned so that the bridge was in his peripheral vision. “As of right now, doesn’t that make you lower than dirt as well? Technically speaking of course.” He grinned and glanced at the bridge, and then spun, flipping a knife into his hand and cocking his arm back for an instant- long enough to activate Dead Eye and bury the knife just over the players standard issue breastplate, in his throat. The White Knight had been advancing while he was talking. Rude. He turned back to the girl, taking the time to glance over her public player data. Ah, Imagineer, mastermind class. Not much to speak of in physical defense then. “Now see what you made me do! Now I am lower than dirt too!” Jeremy shook his head in mock shame and turned towards their opponents, smiling cheekily. “How about you just let yourselves be turned in, sit nice and safe in a cell for a while? It’s safe, they feed you, and you don’t have to pay for a bed- perfect for cowards!” The Knight he had stabbed had already pulled out the blade and tossed it aside, rubbing at his throat with a pained expression. Jeremy waved his hand and another knife seemed to slowly rise out of his sleeve. He flourished his cloak with one hand and bowed, hat and knife in the other. Jeremy spoke out of the corner of his mouth to the Moon Waltzer. “Brother, mind lending a magician a hand? Try to keep the muscles over there busy with your little friend, Miss Imagination over here probably has as bad physical defense as me.” --- HP: 100% SP: 100 Level: 1 Inventory: Gold: 20 Deck of Cards Dice & Cup x 10 Bread x2 Flint & Steel Whetstone Canteen (Water) Enemies White Knight: 85% Player 2: 100% (SLP) Player 3: 100% (SLP) Player 4: ???
