The Stone of Sacrifice was an interesting sight to see considering the shape. Looking at everything around the stone however made him feel like he was suffering from a bad case of deja vu. The one house that was nearby was a burnt down wreckage and pillars were scattered around and busted like some kind of raid to destroy an old civilization took place. Inadi felt like this was probably what the ruined city of Troy looked like once the Greek army was done with it. Grabbing his spear in both hands, Inadi knew that he was going to have to keep his eyes open so he wouldn't end up like the Trojans did that day they accepted that giant horse. Jasper thought it would be wise to go on ahead by herself, an idea that Ace showed concern with. Inadi agreed with the worried red head and placed a hand on the healer's shoulder as he tried to stop her from going too far with her idea. “If you want to go by yourself cause you feel you don't add much to a fight then why risk not being around others that are? You pretty much leave yourself as easy pickings for anything that may be out here Jasper,” He told her while his eyes continued to shift around the place. A few birds had decided to roost nearby and seemed to be following the group very closely. Their eyes almost as black as their feathers, Inadi didn't like the idea of being watched by these flying rats. Letting go of Jasper he shifted his spear and gave a smile. “No reason to lose one of our more useful members so early don't you think?” He asked Jasper as he gave a quick chuckle. Hearing Ace's suggestion to go off with a guide to the nearby hut he felt a little concerned. The further they stretched their numbers the easier most of them would get picked off by these witches. They had no idea to what extent these hags had in regards to power. And the humans still had no idea to what all they could actually do with their magic. The best Inadi could still do was throw a lightening bolt at an enemy but the likely hood of that working on a witch was very small he felt. He wished there was a better way to know more about witches and what all they were capable of. Then again they were here to help the humans as best they could. Better to take help that was there rather than throw it away before you can have a chance to use it. Inadi decided to turn to Avian, the guide that Ace had suggested earlier as the group went over to the burned down hut. Inadi didn't want to get to far away from the others, as the whole splitting up thing just struck him as a really bad idea. Reaching out to the guide, he began asking his questions. “Avian, just out of curiosity do you have any idea what kind of witches we may be dealing with here at all? And what all can witches do exactly,” He said while keeping an eye on the birds above them, which seemed to gather some more friends since he had last glanced at them. “Can they absorb other people's magic if its used against them? Like if I shot a bolt at one, would they just shrug it off like it was nothing?” He asked concerned as a few squawks began shooting down on them with some anger attached to them it seemed. Definitely didn't make the framed face of Inadi lose it's scowl.
