"It's been about thirty minutes since school let out, how come I had to wake you up for such an event?" Alice asked with curiosity. She could see the light bags under their eyes. 

"I don't know about you, Esther, but I'm not just going to sit around waiting for some teacher to find me and ruin all the fun. I suggest you better get moving too before they find both of us and stick us in the auditorium and tell us everything is going to be alright."

Alice turned and started to run in a random direction, hoping she'd stumble upon something amazing and not a random teacher.

"See ya later, Esther!" She called over her shoulder.
