Reason: While she was coming back home from school she got assaulted by 2 of her schoolmates. To defend herself she used the skills she had learned and fought back. After a few hits, she sprinted her way back home and when her parents saw her there were bruises and cuts on her self. 
They sent her to this camp because they think she is some kind of gang member, no matter how many times Karen denied it. 

Personality: She usually keeps to herself, unless she is spoken too. In her school, she was the silent girl who nobody really knew about. Even her parents had a hard time trying to communicate with her. However, Karen always follows the decisions she thinks is right and very stubborn.

Other: Towards the beginning of high school, she signed herself up for a boxing class. She also took self defense classes in her spare time for the fun of it. However, she would never fight someone unless they provoke her first.
