Serena smiled cheerfully again. She hugged Alin before he got any sadder.

"Alin, please don't apologize. You did nothing wrong. If anyone should apologize it's me. Anyway, what are you reading? Is it good?" She said, glad to get his mind off the subject. She absolutely hated when Alin was upset, it brought her mood down. Making him smile though always brought joy to her.
