Austin nodded," sounds good." He paused, thinking he heard mention of something that could be used to defend the camp as a bunch on bustling Hephaestus kids crossed by. He said," should you or me go check out what they are talking about? Because if it is defensive stuff, it could effect our border patrol." He glanced towards the Hephaestus cabin, spotting Nevea just waiting there in front of it. Now that wasn't normal.
Nevea noticed Austin looking at her, but made nothing of it. He wasn't her focus right now, her focus was defence, and subsequently boosting her reputation. Some could say she put safety after standing, which was nearly true, but could not be proven satisfactorily. She was later found to be the unfortunate victim of a certain rare and misunderstood disease called "caring what other people think". She, of course, thought this completely and utterly absurd.
"I've got other things I need to attend to anyway," Seth remarked as he looked at a clock nearby. He had spent a longer time here than he had originally intended to, but really, what could he have expected? The demigod stretched his hand out towards his creation and caused it to levitate off the table and returned it to its original place floating in the air."Use it carefully, if you do. Make sure you all succeed and come back alive, it really does suck when anyone is lost on these quests."Seth had said the last bit with some actual sincerity in his voice, but before anyone could respond if they wanted to, he was already out the door and walking towards where he'd expect Nevea to be at. He rotated his neck and shoulders a bit to relieve some of the tension that had built up. After a few minutes of walking, Seth finally saw the Hephaestus cabin come into view. He could see Nevea standing out there waiting, and was pleased to see she was prompt at getting to where she needed to be."Nevea," he called out as he stopped next to the cabin. "Wait, did you just-"He could have sworn the girl had changed her style at least twice already. And he thought only Aphrodite's children did that."Nevermind, we should get started on discussing what we need to."The demigod waited for her to begin speaking.
Ah, there he was, Seth. Her eyes turned to him as he came toward her and she waved him over, with a slight smile on her face that fit perfectly with her business air. She had completely expected his next question, and as he cut short, she quickly responded, "Yes. Yes I did." She did not care to explain, for it was a very lengthy and tedious description of the reason for her constant changes of outfit. This is that description: She liked to be perfectly dressed for every occasion. You can now see just how boringly long it is and understand why she didn't like to explain. Most anyone would get bored after the first letter, that was how long it was. "So let's get to business," she began, with a slight steeliness in her voice that also added to the business air about her. She also adjusted the tones in her voice when she changed outfits, in case it hadn't been noticed yet. She was thorough to a fault. Not that she made any. "The Hephaestus cabin is ready to hear me out on weaponising my ice constructs. And of course you can add what you will to the conversation." That was the end of it, so she opened the door to the cabin and walked in. Immediately, she felt warmer. That was not good at all. She was not comfortable with warm temperatures, not at all. So, she quickly cooled herself down, making sure that the temperature effect wouldn't go much farther than half a foot away from her. "So, we're here because of defence," she began, to strike up the conversation. "Particularly mechanising and weaponising my ice constructs." ((If you could play the Hephaestus kids, that would be absolutely peachy.))
