With a jolt, Alin understood that perhaps she did really care about him. The entire time that they knew each other, she'd only tried to help him be happy. Even though she'd been able to make him feel better for the most part about everything, Alin had been so engulfed in his feelings that he hadn't tried to make the vital push himself that was needed to dispel his self-pity. Nothing would get better if he kept up this attitude and he wouldn't fulfill his dreams either, he realized. Though he wouldn't be able to magically dispel his sadness, even with his wand, he mentally decided that he'd make the effort to stop being such a bummer about it. Looking at her, a genuine smile appeared on his face. "Of course I trust you, you're my best friend. I promise that I won't hide anything like that from you, and I also promise that I'll stop being so mopey, okay?" He even hugged her back a bit this time, and followed along into the class, sitting beside her. The small smile was still plastered on his face.
