Vick Aeternus || Mystic Forest Affected players: S.V, Prince, Ares, Lilith Vick didn't know how to approach the beast, It was a fairly intimidating thing, being quite a bit taller, and wider then the thin coin tosser. He clutched his little blade hard, wondering when he should actually go on the attack, watching his much more agile allies dance around the enemy and slowly chip his health away. Vick sighed a bit with relief, it seemed his might not even need to go and fight the...A sharp cry was heard, Prince had once again found himself on the receiving end of a royal beating, dread rose in Vick's gullet, he instinctively went to try and help but... A roar echoed out from the creature, knocking away the dark knight who had been fighting it brutally. Vick watched his comrade go flying and began to panic, all at once things seemed to go crazy. Health bars dropped all over the place, allies coming close to death again and again. He didn't know what to do, until someone actually had sense to do something, unlike him. A potion split and health raised back to, regular panic levels, not seeing the abyss panic levels. The divider one of the teammates he had talked little too, she found herself in the most dire situation of all, but before he could think to help her either, another body came and whisked her to safety. Vick found a mix of emotions traveling behind his eyes. First relief, then anger, directed at himself and the large furry monster. He had sat and done nothing, and the one causing all this damage was the titan ahead of him. He looked down to his butter knife and trembled the last bit of terrible gut wrenching unsure-ness away. It was his turn. Charging out with some resolution he gripped his blade in both hands, as one would a sword, and dove low to the enemy, his body full tilt rocketing at them. He didn't have a sure fire plan per say, but some little image had come to mind, he would try and copy Prince, dance around the beast while doing sufficient damage. He decided against using his magic abilities, they could easily break whatever momentum he managed to form, and that would likely be lethal. He raced past the buccaneer, not offering any words to him as he zipped by, he kicked his legs out in front of him and came to a slide, the beast towering higher every little inch they neared. Sliding down behind the beasts legs Vick found his target. Vulnerable tendons presented themselves, and swallowing all his hesitation he threw out arcs of metal at them. Grass and blood flowed about him, the beasts maw opening once more to release another cry. Vick's baseball slide came to slow halt, and the beast fell to one knee. Vick had sliced one of the two weak points. The wolf turned it's foaming jaws to him, a blinding rage emanating from it's eyes. Vick found all his fear once more. It turned limply to him, raising the blade high above it's head. Vick, out of fear and not bravery, took action. He scrambled up from the dirt and charged the vile enemy once more, the blade swung down, coming down with an earth shattering collision behind him. He felt the things arms scrape his shoulders. He was in front of it's face now. "Bet low!" The boy yelled in desperation, the game causing his body to follow the command he let loose a flurry of quick strikes at the beasts face. Hitting it directly multiple times his attack wore out, a bloody gape of sharpness still staring back at him he continued to panic. "Bet low! Bet low! Bet low!" Repeatedly striking the poor wolf with his bee stings he began to feel terrible strains on his body, his attacking arm was burning horrible, exhaustion filled him after every ability ended, his vision rocked and danced white and black. He was over-exerting himself and couldn't stop. A final rush of silver and fell back, the arms no longer there, he looked up in fear, expecting to see a blade coming to meet him. He saw waves, waves of rolling data disperse through the air. Echoing a final goodbye to a formidable enemy, Vick didn't move. He lay there on his bottom, propped on one elbow staring at the strings fade from existence. His arm cried in horror, he must have ripped his muscles because he doubted it would move correctly for a good little bit...A ghost escaped his mouth and he fell back. Pale as a cloud. "Dun-Dun-Dun-dun-du-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...da-da-da..." He layed back, humming a familiar victory anthem, from a familiar RPG franchise. He actually did something for once... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HP ~ 54% SP ~ 20 Level ~ 2 Inventory ~ Potion x 1 Gold x 10 Napkin X 1 Enemies: Mini boss; werewolf lvl 3: 0%/150% Moon234 Aeternus || Nexus Sleepy Leaf Bridge Affected players: The Imaginer, Wandering Fool, Xenoko Moon stood and watched sheepishly as the girl went about her business, explaining what had happened and what she thought. She motioned to him and gave him something to think about. Brave... He wasn't so sure. It took all that he had to actually go and help, and even then he wasn't much use. He nodded awkwardly as a sort of thank you to the compliment and just gave an off stare when she explained the stop effect, and why it had happened. He was afraid it had been her, he didn't really want to find himself too close to her after hearing that, but a sort of invitation to join the carriage, and an offer to stay somewhere nice for a night, made him reconsider. He didn't really have any place to go did he...He did also think her reason was valid, his last thoughts before it had happened was in fact that things were getting a bit dire. He clenched his wand with some shakiness and took a few subtle steps forward, not giving the girl any real eye contact. He went to the other side of the carriage and found a place to hold onto. Not adding more words to the exchange with her. She confused him, and he didn't know to say what she did was right, or to hope she never did anything like that again. He broke from his thoughts for a moment and stepped down from the...step-down. He circled the cart (on the side opposite Imaganeer) and found the monk. "Uhm..." he found himself still being more flustered then he would like. "Thank you for the ride" he said before quickly turning to sat his spot once more. With Artemis in the air next to him he stared at the bright glowing HUD. After a few seconds of recollection he accepted any friend requests given, and sent one out to each person there not yet on his list. He felt out of place in this group, but it was still one that welcomed him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HP: 100% SP: 45 Level: 2 Inventory~ Potion x4 Gold x10 Artemis HP: 84%
