Meeting between Meisa and Zakito. A collab between Gerontis and Lesli. Summary: With the kidnapping of Miharu Hon, the host of the Kyuubi and the whole ordeal, Meisa and Zakito were ordered by Hisoka to meet up at the Hokage Office. Both are close on arriving and discussing on what they best can do against this event.
Zakito was heading to the Office. He was not whistling an old war tune or humming something else that was usually cheerful. The man was actually thinking about the current situation. Hisoka was with most ANBU likely still at the hospital. He and Meisa were going to see if they could form up a plan to counter the current event that had happened. Zakito was briefly wondering if an operation would have any effect. According to what Chang had told him through the Dragon Seal, it wouldn't likely have any success to now try to search the perimeter of Konohagakure. There was no trace of escape or that the enemy had tried to fight their way out of Konoha. Meaning that they had most likely had used a teleportation technique. Only what kind of? It was bothering him that they had actually got so far that they had infiltrated Konohagakure. But it wasn't surprising. It weren't fools who had conducted this action. Meisa was also near the room. She was thinking on the same subject as Zakito was. And what most were likely thinking about. It wasn't something small that had happened. Even while Miharu had no same status as Kiyomi, Meisa kind of considered it better that Miharu was in coma. Then the Kyuubi wouldn't be a threat of nature or another country. Turning around the last corner, she noticed somebody and shook her head, while smiling. ''Glad to see you here. Shall I, Zakito-sama?'' Meisa offered, stepping forward. Only for Zakito to open the door. ''Good to see you as well, Meisa-chan. No, if you would let me have the honor.'' He said, nodding in her direction. Though he sounded friendly and polite, he was more in a serious mood. This day wouldn't likely let any of the higher ups to be very happy. ''Shall we skip the formalities?'' Zakito offered, saying it once he would be able to close the door behind them. Meisa smiled warmly towards Zakito, entering the room. Walking to the side of Hokage's desk, she turned around. Nodding, she answered his question. ''Yes. We both know what happened. You also seem to have an idea what to do, considering that you ordered the troops.'' Meisa said. ''Though I am a bit irritated that a little bit of confusion was there. I will however speak to both Sakamoto and Hisoka after this. This mustn't happen in more grim situations, like a war.'' Meisa told him. He took a few more steps in the direction of her and the desk and sighed. ''It was just the surprise that caught everybody off guard. I also am not completely sure, but taking on how everything went, I do know that if we panic, we will be further away from getting back on our feet.'' Zakito explained to Meisa. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his pants, he had a serious look to the woman. ''Considering that the attack happened without any warning from the barrier team means that they had planned this for some time or that there are some moles around. That is the reason why I ordered everybody to calm down. Not that it helped, considering that every jounin and ANBU now have been warned about this.'' Meisa crossed her arms, but her left hand went to her chin as she lowered her head. Thinking about what Zakito told her, Meisa threw a glance in his direction. ''But if we wouldn't have warned the ANBU or Jounin, what else could we have done? It is not like we can just let this slip by, right?'' Meisa asked. She was sure that off every person in the Leaf, Zakito was now the person to listen to. His experience was bigger than hers or Hisoka, a reason why he had been a mentor to both. Or still was. ''It wasn't that smart. But I can't really blame it. Taken by surprise, the Hokage just decided to try what he could do. But it is both important to make sure that we get to know who the potential moles are as well trying to not spread some panic. I have already assigned both Team 2 as Team 7 to prepare within two days to then head out on a mission.'' Zakito told her. He wasn't disappointed in the Yondaime Hokage. Most would likely have reacted like that. Zakito also considered that they weren't aware of what he knew, so he couldn't be too harsh on him. ''Why those two teams? Why not some ANBU teams?'' Meisa asked. Realizing that both teams were led by jounins that had been trained and mentored by Zakito, she could try to understand it. But both had genins on their team. It would make more sense to her if they would send some ANBU on a recovery mission. ''Or is this a kind of diversion tactic?'' Meisa asked, trying to figure out why Zakito would sent those teams. He shook his head lightly. ''Yes and no. I have great faith in the leaders of those teams. They both are the types of people we need to have on recovering any information we can. It is also something that will not be expected, as most would predict or assume that a force of ANBU agents would be sent.'' He told her. ''That and I won't tell the whole teams of their missions. Only just Kiyomi and Kensuke.'' Zakito further explained. ''And do you have an idea where the host has been taken then?'' Meisa asked. She knew that Zakito wouldn't just waste manpower and rescourses on something that wouldn't aid him. With explaining why he had chosen those two teams, she could understand the reasons of Zakito better. Only now she wished to know how he was able to formulate a plan like that, while they had no idea where the host was taken to. ''To be honest, I only can assume. The other part is also to draw the attention of the kidnappers. It seems they are targeting the jinchuriki's. If we allow Kiyomi to become a trap, we can try to see if we can lure them out. That and maybe increasing the security to counter this might help.'' Zakito replied. Sighing, he raised his left hand to scratching the back of his head. ''I will try to ensure that the jounin forces will stay calm. In the meantime arrange some forces at the border outposts to stand ready in case we might need them.'' Meisa nodded. ''I shall discuss later with Hisoka on what to do with the ANBU. Thank you for your time, Zakito-sama. I take it that you will arrange immediately now what you just told me?'' Was her question. Meisa was already busy with the next step. She had to update Hisoka on what Zakito would do and for the most part she agreed with his actions. Hopefully Hisoka would be able to do something with his ANBU to further help to stabilize the situation. Not to forget she had to take care of the Ghost ANBU. ''Good day Zakito-sama.'' The jounin commander nodded towards Meisa as he turned around. ''Good day Meisa.'' He was about to reach the door handle until Meisa said something. ''I am sorry for your nephew. I hope we can save him.'' This made Zakito to halt as he turned around. He looked rather calm. ''I hope the same. Thank you.'' Turning around again, he opened the door to walk out of the office towards the Jounin station. He had to arrange what he had told Meisa what he would do.
