As the last of the debris fell and Asgard spoke with the others, Yggdrasil's mechanical angel moved to his side once more. He nodded, feeling Asgard was right. The superior was the number one priority. They needed to be with her right now, and he felt a tug at his heart as he recalled his oath swearing to protect his fellow knights. His internal conflict showed upon his mechanical angel, who vocalized in tone that was both the sound of a ticking clock and a girls melody. Her hazy eyes looked at Yggdrasil as he considered his options. "Very well. My tome shall follow you for added protection if necessary. If something happens and we need to immediately relocate The Superior that information will be immediately relayed to me." It wasn't often Ace spoke so frankly, but then again it wasn't often the Citadel was attacked by terrorists. Beside him, the mechanical angel was very obviously displeased, turning to the platinum knight and vocalizing in a very annoyed, breathy tone. "I know," Ace sighed. When he spoke again it was not without reassurance. "I'll be okay. We must focus on protecting others." In truth, the tome was no separate entity. She was just like any other tome, reflecting the inner desires and thoughts of her owner. The only difference was that she had a 'humanoid' form and could physically express Ace's inner turmoil. It was something that seldom worked to his advantage, especially if he were truly scared in a battle. Even now, her annoyance reflected the truths of his heart. It was exactly like he was talking to himself. No man wished to part with their unique tome, but he had decided. Alone, he and Asgard could handle armies. And while he didn't doubt the strength of the Jester, Midgard and Nifilheim, they were his subordinates. In this way he could be in both places at once and defending those who mattered most at the same time. "Go," He said after touching his tome's arm. With a scowl, the silent being hovered beside the Jester. Taking his sword from his hip, he turned to Asgard. "Let's go."
