Despite the resemblance, it's not the same as hell. They've been kidnapped and brought here, just like in Wizard's Dungeun. In Redden's case he could have somehow been captured on purpose. It might be this is an alternate timeline where Redden was possessed by a minor demon, thus his decreased powerlevel, and intends to absorb Asmodeus instead to become more powerful. :hmm
