"Sure," Fiore said as he looked at Leifr.

[i]What are his intentions?[/i] Fiore asked inside his head. Fiore stared at Leifr again, trying to assess him, trying to see if there were any hints as to what he'll be doing, but Fiore for the life of him could not figure out anything from his assessment, not even a single clue. [i]Perhaps... perhaps he wants to kill me while I'm not looking? Or perhaps he... just really wants to search the camp with me... bonding, I think is what it's called... but is it really safe? Allereun and the girl? They're both girls, would it not be safer for them to go with Leifr and I?[/i] The questions flew by in Fiore's head as he pondered, but he eventually came to a conclusion: [i]Yeah, this'll be some good bonding time.[/i] 

"Will you two be okay?" Fiore asked as he turned around to look at Allereun. "If anything goes wrong, do not hesitate to shout, I am entrusting the child to you, Allereun!" Fiore emphasized the word "child" as he looked at Allereun, completely ignoring the fact that the girl had previously once said she was seventeen. "Allereun, promise me that you will take care of her!"
