"That would be by him." Donald answered Liaena's question while taking a step back to gaze up at her. "It was how I ended up in the custody of you and your Night Elven allies, after all. What would otherwise have been a clean escape, he intercepted me and left me for dead." Donald explained as he thought back to the whole episode in the sewer, which had consisted mostly of him being thrown from brick wall to brick wall like the ragdoll of a rather psychotic little girl. Part of him didn't like talking about the episode to Liaena, as he found the whole betrayal to be more embarrassing. One could only be betrayed if you trusted someone in the first place. "I knew he would turn on me eventually. I simply had not expected him to do it so soon." For a moment, Donald smiled. "I think he is probably a little disappointed with your Night Elven bodyguards, considering that I am still alive." Donald chuckled softly. "I have no love for him, nor any loyalty either. If you want to make his life worse, I would only be too happy to cooperate, Lady Rune." Donald paused, blinking his right eye up at Liaena. "I believe we are united in a common desire to see my old customer pay."
