We gave them a chance to give up their gains, we even offered to help them colonize for once, but they responded with more weapons fire. We would like nothing more than peace, but the Ceramus seem bent on fighting us! It's completely illogical, losses could be prevented by peace, and now they're simply trying to destroy what they could ever gain? The only way we can respond is with destruction, they refuse to speak any other language to us. The system had to be destroyed, we couldn't let them get the power of the antiproton streamer along with their kinetic bombardment weapons."
