This is getting to be some inception kinda stuff. 

A neat concept, that would make a goal for everyone, find out who or what opened the levels to each other, and why? 

I feel a previous layered planet could have developed together within the dyson sphere yet a good distance away, and they have come to help or hinder the newly oponed planets.
