Gin propped himself up on an elbow while Effy got ready. He looked quite content, though probably could have grabbed a pillow instead, it looked almost painful with how he had his neck bent. He didn't seem to mind the music, in fact he seemed to be humming along with it, at a slightly slower pace. He was actually quite talented with music, he could play a few instruments, at least to some extent. Though he could not dance to save his life, but ooooh did he try. At least he tried at home, Samual had banned him from trying to dance at Noir anymore, even while shitfaced drunk. It was by far one of the oddest

The moment Effy stepped out of the bathroom his eyes opened. Slowly he would drag his gaze over her entire figure, outfit and all. He would stop his gaze at a few certain places, but eventually moved to look at her face. A grin forms onto his features as he lets out a low whistle. "If I didn't know how much shit we'd get in, I'd say you should start the show here. That outfit really suits you, but I honestly can't wait to see you take it off."

With that, Gin would lazily remove his head from his hand and let it drop onto the bed with a content sigh. "I guess this also means I have to put my shirt back on and get my shoes on now too."

"Speaking of starting the show, your ticket is on the table in the kitchen. Do. Not. Forget it. Samual will gladly give your spot to the highest bidder, and tonight's show is more expensive than usual." Effy said, flashing Gin a stern look. He would never forget the ticket, that much she knew. Her heels softly clicked against the wooden floor as she crossed the room once again, this time to her glass table filled with an assortment of expensive and exotic perfumes; she picked up her favorite and sprayed herself. It's soft, sweet, floral scent filled the small loft. "Now, hurry and get dressed before I change my mind." She winked.

Ephesian turned her back to her lover as she inspected herself in the mirror, for Samual expected nothing less than perfection. Currently, she was perfection. A knock at the door pulled her from her vanity. "Come in, it's not locked" she called.

Casey opened the door and rushed in and slammed the door behind him. The apartment shook. He smelled as if he had forgotten to shower for a day or so, his clothes and hair disheveled in a manner that would hint that he had just woken up. "Gin, man, I need your velvet ticket." Casey eye twitched as he spoke, a nervous tick brought about by stress or fear or any negative emotion really.

By the time Effy had finished speaking, Gin was already to his feet and making his way to the dryer. He reached in and pulled out his warm and fresh smelling shirt, groaning happily as he slipped it on over his head quickly before moving to grab the wet cloths Effy had thrown. He tosses them into the dryer and starts it before quickly skipping over to the kitchen counter. He grins as he grabs his ticket and carefully tucks it into his wallet before stuffing it into his back pocket. He was pretty excited about leaving, now he just needed his shoes...

And there it was. He watched Casey barge in and slam the door behind himself. Gin didn't like how the apartment shook, or the horrid smell that he brought with him. A silent huff escapes Gin as he eyes Casey wearily, especially as he asked for his velvet ticket. Nearly instantly Gin wanted to clock him upside the head, Casey knew how much he valued his ticket... and he dared asked for it? Sucking in a sharp breath, Gin suddenly stands straight, lifting a hand to run it through his hair as he gives Casey an intense 'You better be kidding me' look before speaking.

"Why do you need my ticket?" Though he appeared calm enough, there was a heavy underline of aggression. Gin normally wasn't an aggressive man, but this was one of his buttons.

Casey eyed Effy lustily licking his lips like a hungry wolf, wanting nothing more than to rip her out of that pretty little black corset and throw her to the floor. His eyes were wide, a gleam of insanity sparking within them. Gin's voice seeped into his erotic fantasy, pulling him from it as he turned to face his friend. He stared at the ticket hungrily as he spoke, the speed of his eye twitch increasing as his palms began to sweat. "I've run into a bit of...trouble, and I need that ticket to soothe the situation. You've been to every intimate show for the past 10 months. What's the harm of missing one?" Casey was desperate, and even Samual wouldn't give him a ticket. Some bullshit about there being a strict limit of four for this show.

"Besides, we all know that you've already seen the whore's routine. You're the one who gets free private shows, after all. I wonder how Samual would feel about that." Casey smirked as he began to close the gap, feeling as if he had Gin trapped. He held out a shaking hand, expecting that Gin would simply place the ticket in his hand. "Well?" he spat, growing impatient with the other man's intense calmness.

Gin didn't even flinch as Casey spit his threats, he merely stood still, even as the gap between them grew smaller and smaller. Gin didn't really get impatient, not during work, not during sex, not even during a fight. It only made him want to laugh as he noted the irritation growing in the other man, but all he manages is a light shake of his head. Mostly shaking his head in disappointment, Casey really just was a 'face' now. A slightly annoying face. "Sam won't care if I tell him you came to me begging for -my- ticket. He'd probably laugh at how pathetic you are being right now, too. Because simply telling me 'A bit of trouble' is not an adequate answer nor the correct way to ask for something from me, you should know better."

Despite so desperately wanting to take a swing at Casey, he refused to budge from his place as the out-stretched hand came into reach. He wasn't afraid of this human in the slightest, if anything, he felt a tiny pang of pity for him. But then again, he was just another face among many. Quickly Gin reaches a hand out to grab onto Casey's. Not a normal kind of grab, either. Gin normally kept his nails cut back, but suddenly they were rather sharp as he promptly attempted to dig them into Casey's wrist, keeping the calm look upon his face. "On top of that, all of it in front of her too. How shameful." He murmured ruthlessly, clearly anticipating for the twitchy, shaky man to strike.

“Gin, please stop. He’s not worth it.” Effy said softly. She hated confrontation more than she hated Casey.

“Shut up, Effy.” Casey hissed as he tried to wrench himself free from Gin’s grip. Blood began to drip down his arm, only increasing his desperation. “What the fuck man?! Let me go!” he seemed to scream. Casey reached behind his back, producing a rusted old revolver. “I swear to god if you do not let me go…” he pointed the gun in Effy’s direction, his hand shaking violently. His thoughts had turned to mush long ago. Nothing made sense anymore but getting that ticket in any way possible; even if it meant killing his 'friends'

Effy held up her hands, what little color she had draining away. “Please, Casey, this ticket isn’t worth it. If you shoot me, the ticket will be a waste.”

“I told you to shut up!” Casey screamed as she realized she was right. A velvet ticket meant nothing if Effy was lying in a puddle of blood. He turned the gun on Gin, placing the muzzle to his forehead. “Please, just give me the ticket. I don’t want to die. I don't want to kill you either, but I need that ticket.”

Gin was suddenly very glad Effy was there, as much as he didn't want her in the line of danger, she was probably the only thing keeping Casey alive at the moment. With the threat of a gun, reluctantly Gin released his grip on the mans wrist, his nails coated in fresh blood. He lightly shakes the hand and glances at his blood coated nails in utter disgust, a very rare thing to be seen from him. If he managed to get another hold on Casey, if ever, it wouldn't be mere scratches left on his corpse. He didn't hold up his hands in fear or defense, he merely keeps his gaze sternly on Casey as the gun was placed to his forehead. Again, Gin just really wanted to laugh. He had dealt with magic that was much more dangerous than this thing Casey considered dangerous.

But, Gin wouldn't complain that he now had the gun pointed at him. He'd actually rather have it only pointed in his direction, not towards Effy. He slowly exhales a rough, angry seeming breath before he speaks. "You really think there would be a show tonight if you shot me in the head, in front of her?" The end of his words sounded more like an unintentional growl. Slowly though he was moving his hands around to his back pocket, to get his wallet and the ticket. "I am getting the ticket, you can put your damned toy away."

It was one of the reasons now why Gin could see others might hate humans. There were the ones like Casey who were nuts and on drugs, but then there were also the ones who were like Effy. And if he had to choose, Effy easily outweighed Casey's crazy. Not that they would be dealing with his crazy much longer after he had a talk with Samual and maybe Micael... No one liked talking to Micael though, he was dangerous, even more dangerous than Casey with his gun at the moment.

Casey kept the gun pressed to Gin's forehead as he snatched away the ticket, shoving the piece of velvet into the recesses of his coat pocket. "I'm going to leave now, but I swear to God...I will blow her brains out if you make a single move towards me." He threatened as he brandished the gun in Effy's direction as she choked back a whimper. His voice was shaking as much as his hand, but there was nothing he could do to stop either. Backing away slowly he made his way to the door, turning around and bolting at the last possible second. The realization of what he had done hit him as the door to Effy's loft closed behind him. He had forsaken to of his closest friends for a ticket, though he had done it to safe his own neck. It was his life or theirs, and no ones life was more important to him than his.

Ra's' black, luxury town car was parked outside of Effy's building, waiting for Mr. Fisher like a stalking jungle cat. The wickedly handsome man within lit a Djarum Black, inhaling the flagrant toxins deep into his lungs. He could understand why human's found the thin cylinders appealing. Smoke poured from his mouth as he glanced at his custom Rolex, frowning deeply at the time. 12:45. Casey should have delivered the ticket by now. Ra's was not a patient man by any means of the word. Then again, he was not a man at all.

Casey stumbled out the door, thrusting the ticket through Ra's' open window without so much as a word before turning to run in the other direction.

Gin let out another breath, but this one was of relief. He once again glances down to his clawed nails, frowning once again. But he only had the claws on one hand, thankfully. But instead of worrying about such a thing now, he quickly turns his attentions to Effy. He had heard that whimper loud and clear, and while he wanted to comfort her right away, he had one thing to do first. Gin, unlike everyone else, did not carry a phone. While it would make his life 600% easier, he didn't want people to have the leisure of contacting him when he didn't want them too. But the people who desperately needed to get a hold of him knew how to find him, and those who he liked? They didn't have to worry about looking for him, he was always around, and Effy was a good case to show for this.

"Effy? Hey, its alright now, he is gone." Gin murmured, wiping his hand on his faded and torn jeans before quickly walking over towards her with his arms open for a comforting hug. "I need to borrow your phone, we need to call Sam and I gotta' call someone else after we talk to him." He is silent for a few moments. "I really don't want you doing this showing tonight now, from how Casey was sounding he was in serious shit... it really seems someone wanted a ticket that couldn't get one." Already Gin's mind was starting to weave out his next course of action, which he was already starting to regret, knowing he would end up calling Micael after he spoke with Samual.

"I don't want to do the show tonight. No, I cannot do the show tonight. I'm shaking worse than Casey was, it's really hard to look sexy when you're shaking like a drug addict." Effy held her hand up as if to prove her point. It was trembling violently. She sighed, sinking into Gin's warm embrace. "It doesn't make any fucking sense. Samual allows anyone a ticket, all they have to do is pay his price." Her head was spinning.

Unlike Gin, Effy had a phone and it was on her person at time. She had even invested special case that allowed her to safely take it into the shower. While most people her age would have died without the phone, Effy would have happily lived without Apple product. Being on call, at all times, did now allow her that simple luxury, though. Samual required that his favorite dancer was available at every moment of the day, no matter the time, day, or business of her day. His favorite times to call seemed to be while she was showering or having sex, or if he was really lucky, while she was having shower sex. It was if he knew, and chose only those times to call. Knowing Sam, he did know.

Effy pulled the phone from within her corset, handing it to Gin before wrapping her arms around him.

"Yeah..." Gin coo'd out in a soft, reassuring tone as he wrapped one arm around her tightly while holding the phone in the other, his other arm still semi-wrapped around her though. "Which sort of makes me want to think it was someone who wasn't allowed there anymore, to maybe cause some trouble or something." He mutters, resting his head against hers as he carefully lifts the phone up towards his face with one hand. With a light tap of the screen it comes to life, filling with various little colorful squares with different designs and the alike. It takes him only a second to open her contacts, he doesn't even scroll through any of the numbers, merely opening the dial pad before he punches in Samual's personal cell-number. As the phone starts to make the 'Im calling the requested number' sounds he hugs onto Effy a bit tighter.

Someone on the other end of the line picked up and before they could even get out the words 'Hello' or 'What do you want', Gin swoops in quickly. "Hey, we've got a fuckin' huge problem here." Without really noticing it, Gin was holding the phone a bit awkwardly. He was holding it merely with a finger on each side, sort of away from his face. He didn't need it to be right beside his head, hell, he could have still heard it perfectly fine if it were outside in Effy's car! And while Gin might not have been one who used technology as often as others, he did at least know how to use it for when he needed it.

"If this 'huge fuckin' problem' is that Ra's Naser is in Noir with a velvet ticket, demanding that Effy's sweet, heart shaped be in his face...I already know all about your earth shattering woes." Samual bitched, less at Gin and more in general. Beads of sweat and on his brow and the back of his neck. He worked well under pressure, but this was too much. "Where the fuck is Ephesian, Gin?" Samual hissed, dabbing his forehead with a flamboyant, silk hanky. A groan escaped him, he was not prepared to suck any dicks tonight. That was Ephesian and Casey's jobs.

The Necromancer sat in a red, velvet winged back chair, scotch in hand. He swirled the light amber liquid around its glass, watching it intently. Beautiful, exposed women danced around him, pining for his attention...yet he was displeased. He was not here for these average whores, he was there for Effy. She was a priceless piece of artwork, and he wanted her in his collection. He had the perfect spot for her, his bedroom. She would be even more lovely hanging over his bed. "Samual, where is Effy?" he growled.

Samual simply shrugged in reply to Ra's in fear that words may anger him more. He turned his back to him as he spoke to Gin, his voice barely above a whisper. "Gin, protect her. The Necromancer will stop at nothing." With that he ended the call.

Gin blinks at the phone as Samual ended the call, his words were still ringing in his ears. He slowly sucks in a rather sharp breath before he slowly exhales. "Effy, my dear sweetness," He murmurs to her, "You need to get some cloths for a few days and anything else you might need. We are going to go to a friends house for a bit, I already got the OK from Samual. Change into something comfortable, get a hat too. We gotta' stop at my place to get a few things, too."

He hadn't been able to tell Samual what had happened, but it seemed he already knew and had a very good idea of what had transpired. The Necromancer. A small shiver went down his spine, he really was going to have to call Micael. How Gin had ended up with the guys number could be anyone's guess, you do enough odd jobs and sometimes things just fell into your lap naturally. Slowly he went about releasing Effy, slowly starting to dial one of the many numbers he had memorized. "Any favorite pillow or anything too."

He had to wait until Effy was off collecting her things before he could call Micael. Micael had a way of bringing out the absolute worst in people, he liked to push buttons, test limits and destroy them, and most of all he liked to toy with people, physically and mentally. Gin didn't want Effy near the phone while Micael was on the other end, even over the phone his voice had been known to effect humans. Even Gin wasn't immune to his words part of the time, which was quite a feast seeing as how calm he kept with a gun pointed at his head and Effy.

"Gin, how nice of you to ring me. Tell me, how is Ephesian doing? I'm sure her body is just as delightful as I remember. Warm, soft, and utterly delicious. I miss being inside her a great deal." Micael said, his rant just beginning. "I had a velvet ticket for tonight's show, but it seems Ms. Winters couldn't make the show. Samual said that she fell ill, or something of the sorts. You should bring her to me, Gin. I'll have her back to sucking your dick in no time. That is, after she sucks mine and does whatever ungodly act I ask her to perform. She's quite the willing whore. I was thoroughly shocked, she seemed like such an innocent girl." He paused to gauge Gin's reaction, continuing on. "Has she told you about the time I kept her tied to the bed for three days? You should have heard how she begged for me." Micael was as sadistic as you could get.

Effy ran around the loft, nervously. Haphazardly stuffing clothes into her black duffel blag. She didn't know what was going on, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to find out.

Just how did Micael always know the buttons to press to piss Gin off? The shapeshifter groaned inwardly, shaking his head a bit as he stood by the door, slipping his boots on while the other end of the phone was lively with the others chattering. He was quiet for a couple of moments before he finally decided to speak up, a thought popping into his head. "Yeah, I heard all about that. Good times, eh?" He somehow managed to restrain himself from sighing loudly in sudden irritation, his tone remaining rather flat and even as he continued to speak.

"I sort of figured you'd want to know the Necromancer is after her too. To the point he had some flaky-ass human hold us at gunpoint for my ticket. Nearly got everyone's favorite killed, and while that is much better for him, not so much for the rest of us." Gin started, slowly setting down a bit of bait to see if Micael would take it. Though the city probably didn't need a huge battle between two powerful creatures during the midst of the war, Gin really couldn't find himself to care. He had to keep Effy safe, and he knew Micael wouldn't kill Effy... at least not right off the bat, he'd go after those close to her first. "She is pretty shaken up about the whole thing. Do you think it would be alright if we hid out in your part of town for a bit? Just until it calms down some? I figured I'd ask instead of just throwing trouble onto your doorstep. If you agree I wouldn't mind helping you with that little rat problem you have going on. And hell, we might even invite you over for dinner!"

Gin's house was located on the far side of town, just a mere few blocks into Micael's 'territory'. He rarely ever visited the place, and usually never slept there or anything else... but it was the perfect place to hide. No one but Micael himself knew of its location, as it was Micael who pointed Gin to the house. He was never sure why the aggravating and slightly terrifying man had done so, but then again, it could have just been to keep an eye on a potential useful object.

Micael sighed, his irritation with the shape shifter growing as the conversation progressed. "As much as I would love to aid you in your cowardly attempt to hide, I cannot. You see, Ra's came to me with an offer I simply couldn't refuse. What is that offer, you ask? That offer is Effy. He's going to give me the woman you love, with the simple request that I return her body once I'm finished with her. And for fucks sake, please do not try and pretend you haven't fallen for the girl." Micael paused for effect. "Gin, I hope this doesn't anger you, but am going to rip her heart out and eat it in front of you. You iwill watch as the life leaves her eyes and the blood drains from that beautiful body of hers. You will listen as she begs you to save her, but you will not. You will sit and watch in silence. Then as most necromancers do, Ra's will bring her back and we'll get to share her. He'll have weekdays, and I'll have weekends. Joint custody, a beautiful invention." Micael let out a contented sigh before continuing on. "Gin, do you understand what I'm telling you?" The {enter whatever Micael is here} new he had Gin where he wanted to. He had always enjoyed a good chase.

"Pity. I caught wind that he was out after you, you sure it isn't a trap?" Gin's voice was still even and calm, but his hands were shaking as he now paced in front of the door. There was virtually nothing he could say to Micael at the moment to change any of this, not even Gin's life was worth a drop of it. Though pure shapeshifter blood was rare, it wasn't quite rare enough in the terms of Micael or Ra. "And you truly think I will just sit and watch you do such a thing? Have you, or anyone else for that matter, ever been able to get me to sit still for more than half a second?" Finally though he releases a rather rough sounding sigh, lightly smacking the flat of his free hand against the door. "And of course I do, we all love a bit of cat and mouse, right?"

But that was the end of the conversation as Gin promptly crushed the phone in his hand, letting the pieces drop to the floor. Archdemons, Necromancers, junkies, Gin was getting a bit tired of them. And why did it have to be this one human? There were millions more out there, but it just had to be this one human that he loved to no end. But then again, they could say the same thing about him. Out of all the humans, why had he chosen this one? Well, not really 'chose'. It was more like drawn too, like a moth to the flame. Just how was he going to pull this off? His mind was starting to reel already of possible plans of action. Disappearance was one of his fortes, but could he do it successfully with a human?

A bit of a shaky breath escapes Gin as he lightly kicks the bit of phone away from the door. He quickly turns and grabs all the change he had dropped onto the counter and slips it back into his pocket. He quickly starts to go through all of the bits of paper had with various things written on them before stuffing them all back into his jean pockets.

"Effy, you ready? We really need to get going. I sort of broke your phone and I have a bit of an odd question for you."

Micael leaned back in rich leather desk chair, placing the phone back on the receiver. He grimaced. Gin was right, Ra's was after him. Then again, the Necromancer was after everyone.

"Gin, I don't even give a fuck about the phone. Please, just tell me what the hell is going on. I don't want to be thrown into darkness on this one." Effy said, being unusually stubborn. Was this how Casey felt when he had pointed at her head? Trapped and desperate for a way out? Her eyes pleaded with him, the spark that they once held beginning to fade. Fear began to fill her like water. She felt helpless, like she was losing control. "I will not leave this house until you tell me what the fuck is going on. I don't mean the small bits and pieces, but every.fucking.thing." Normally she would have never raised her voice at Gin, but desperate times called for desperate measures. God was she desperate.

Gin stopped moving as Effy raised her voice. He had watched her do it before, but to other people. She didn't really do it to him, not that he noticed. He didn't notice but he held his breath too, it wasn't until after she had stopped talking that he let out a breath. Out of all the people that could probably stop Gin in his tracks, Effy was one of them. Though he quickly recovered, suddenly leaning heavily against the kitchen counter. "Are you sure you want to know, Effy?" He asks simply, peering at her with a rather worried emerald green gaze. He wasn't sure if he should tell her, but maybe it would just be easier to get it over with now than explaining everything later... they needed to leave here soon. He could sense her fear, he really didn't want to add to it, but he didn't really have a choice, it felt like.

"Well, Effy." He starts, still leaning against the counter, looking at her. "There is a very dangerous man waiting for you at Noir, the guy who sent Casey in here for my velvet ticket. Sam told me to protect you, which I fully intend to do. I contacted a 'friend' of mine to see if he could help, but that is a no-go." Gin slowly lifts a hand to lightly rub at the slight beard he had going on, scratching his chin somewhat before dropping his head forward slightly. "But its not just a 'dangerous man'. Its more like... a very powerful necromancer, you know, the kind that can raise people from the dead? Magic. He wants you for his collection." He didn't exactly give full details on everyone else, like how Samual was an Incubus or how Gin himself wasn't human, even though he appeared to be. But it was only a matter of time before things came to light... much sooner than he had hoped for.

"I will gladly answer any questions you might have on any of it or what my plans for us as of now, but we really need to get going before any more unwelcome guests arrive." His tone went from all serious to calm and coaxing in just a matter of seconds. It was painfully obvious all he had in mind at the moment was Effy's safety.

Effy began the sway, placing a hand onto the wall to brace herself. It was happening again; a magical creature was after her. If she had learned anything from the last time something like this happened, it was that no amount protection could keep her safe. No amount of running could put distance between herself and her hunter. She stared into Gin's eye, searching them for answers. "If a necromancer is after me, there's no way you can protect me. You're just a human. The last human that tried to protect me was ripped apart by rabid wolves. I will not watch you sacrifice yourself for me, Gin." she said as she grabbed her bag, preparing herself to leave without Gin. "I'll hand myself over to this necromancer. People will not die for me. I will not allow it."

A shaky breath escaped her lips. Where the hell was this bravery coming from? She crossed the room to Gin, pressing herself against him as she continued to stare into his shocking emerald eyes. She only closed hers as her lips touched his, a bolt of electricity racing through her body. This is where her bravery came from. Gin. She would be strong for him, but she would not make him be strong for her. "I love you, Gin."
