Listen Russians! Today I have heard word of my christian brothers betrayal of the Orthodox church! Ecumenical Patriarch Joachim II of Constantinople has sold out christ and has decided to join the Muslim heathens in the Ottoman Empire! All over the Ottoman empire good christian men are falling to the temptations and bribes by the Muslim hordes to join their side against our righteous cause! I must say to those of the orthodox church who dare join the Ottoman ranks they shall be recognized as a heretic in the eyes of our lord and savior Jesus and as such shall be shown no quarter in heaven nor on earth! The Tsar's grand army marches now south to the ottoman border and there they shall begin fighting the heathenist hordes I must make this warning to any of those christians who think of succumbing to the muslim temptations you shall be crashed against the rocks much like the waves of the black sea against the cliffs at Bozhurets! I say god speed to those brave christian men who march now with the Tsar's army and i must let them know the Father and The Son are on their side and they shall soon bring victory against the Ottoman Heathens!

I was today Sitting in my study looking over several texts when in came a young scholar he looked very stressed and disturbed in his hand he carried a newspaper I asked him "my Son what is it that bother you, so much that it caused you to come rushing into my study without a single knock or warning?" He put down the paper infront of me as he said quickly "Reb Chaim, I have word from the Ottomans Hakam Bashi Yakir Gueron has sent out a speech! he said to all the jews in their empire to support the war against the Russias!" I picked up the paper and sent him away sighing as i read over Hakam Bashi Geuron's words I was most disturbed by what I read. He thinks that the jews should support the Ottomans this is highly hypocritical and disturbing to me I need not remind Hakam Bashi Geuron of the Massacre of Baghdad back in 1828 and when the Ottomans accused us of using blood to bake passover bread in 1840.these attacks and numerous discriminations and assaults against the jewish people by the Ottomans have caused inconceivable loss of life to the jewish community in the Ottoman empire and yet Yakir Geuron expects them to support their opressors! hypocrisy and manipulation is all he spreads I am sure Hakam Bashi will be sitting comfortably in a palace of Muslim make watching his people get massacred in the thosaunds and be completely content aslong as the Ottomans supply him with ample accomodations! I say to my fellow jews in the Ottoman Empire why follow the words of a man who seeks nothing but to sell out our people in exchange for earthly power and goods!
