Shai walked around the crowded streets keeping to himself. Seeing everybody happy during the festival filled him with joy, but when was he not happy? He began to wander around passing the time by buying food every now and then. He watched as people sung and just have fun. While walking around he spotted a girl, maybe a bit shorter than him with long straight black hair speaking to a little girl looking to be not much older than 7. He hated knowing that kids that young were trapped in a place like this putting their lives on the. He watched as the little girl tried to give the black haired lady a lantern of some sort. Shai watched the older girl turn down the little girl with a smile. The older girl began explaining something. The younger girl gave a frown and then after some more talking from the older girl she smiled again, nodded and ran back to her group with a wave. Shai smiled and began pushing his way through the crowd to the older girl who seemed to be all alone. It puzzled him as to why she was alone in here but yet again he was alone too. 

the girl didn't seem to notice Shai until he was right in front of her, Shai removed his black hood exposing his Spiked white hair with hot pink tips. He gave a friendly smile and began to speak, "Hey, I noticed you turn down that girl's present. Why, if I may ask?" He sat down next to the girl on the bench she was sitting on. "If you don't want to tell me it's okay, it's your business not mine." He spoke spoke with a chuckle. "Also, I noticed you were alone and a team is something valuable to have so I was wondering if you wanted to be on a team with me. If not it's okay and I understand." Shai Smiled and waited for a response.
