Ares Aeternus || Mystic Forest Forest Center -> Afriel Village Affected Players: Moon234, Xenoko, Wandering Fool, The Imagineer, Lilith The sound of the tree trunk thudding against the stone path startled the horses causing them to break into a flat-out gallop. And in mere seconds, three trolls came into the scene, one trailing close behind and two a shortening distance ahead. Bright, emerald eyes shot Moon a reassuring glance of confidence. “Keep your chin up, you hesitate? People die.” He steered the horse closer to the racing wagon and jumped. Ares gripped a barrel of ale by the bottom, metal rim, lifted with the muscles of his quadriceps and flung it with the full force of his garnered momentum. Dark Wave – With a determined swing of his great-lance, Ares shot a powerful slash of his dark magic that connected with the barrel midair causing it to burst into an explosion impacting the troll’s body. As the wagon drew closer to the scene up ahead, Ares could see the struggle that ensued. He maintained his gaze forth. “Protect the cargo, soldier. As long as your familiar keeps to the troll’s periphery, it will be fine.” Ares leapt off the wagon to mount his racing horse. With a light kick and a ‘hiya’, the Dark Knight commanded the black horse into a faster gallop. Pinpointing his target, Ares held the butt of his great-lance with his right hand and held along the length of the black-steel weapon with his left as if preparing to launch a projectile. As the horse sped into striking distance, Ares lunged forward, becoming a ballistic force and ferociously drove his weapon into the back of one of the trolls – Earth Breaker. He rolled as he hit the ground to lessen the consequences of physics. He rapidly stood up, his weapon still lodged deep into the rough, green flesh of the monster’s back. Ares charged forward, slid between the stunned creature’s legs, and jumped to retrieve Soul Eater with a forceful tug. Trademark green eyes shot a glance at the player before him – Wandering Fool. ”Don’t be so eager to die. There's always a plan for everything.” His expression betrayed his words; a cool and detached gaze seemed fixed on his hooded face. They should've known better, he thought but chose to say only what was necessary. The third troll was asleep and the second wouldn’t cause anyone any harm with its health bar practically nonexistent. Ares visibly relaxed; he took a long breath and turned to the female – the Imagineer. “How long until that one wakes?” He asked her, gesturing at the third troll. At that moment, Ares' HUD lit up with a new message. It was Lilith. He shook his head as he read the message before responding.
Aurora, Take a potion. I'm sure someone from the group can assist you with that. Hunter
Ares wasn't sure what was going on but knowing Aurora it was probably blown out of proportion. But she was his friend and he worried about her. --- HP: 50% SP: 20 Level: 3 Inventory Gold x128 Wolf Pelt x2 Wolf Fang Ares’ Enemies [s]Forest Troll Level: 4 HP: 0%[/s] [s]Forest Troll Level: 2 HP: 0%[/s] Forest Troll Level: 2 HP: 5% [DoT] Forest Troll Level: 3 HP: 100% [SLEEP] Forest Troll Level: 3 HP: 60%
