The leaping ten stories might still be OP, since that still gives him the same leg strength he had before and ridiculous kicking power, but I could see it being okay if he has to charge it like you do in the game. The same could also be done for his punching power. He could focus mass into an attack to increase the strength/hitting power, but afterward he'd have to adjust back to normal or the affected body part would be heavier and slower and likely throw him off his game. The longer the charge, the more mass you could focus there and the more powerful the blow would be, but it would also have more momentum and be harder to recover from if you missed.

And three posts of physical activity is only around 15 seconds at most. Usually shorter, so that part was nerfed too much. You probably don't need to add his stamina as a factor, since both mine and LeeRoy's characters don't ever get tired and most of the others have various levels of superhuman stamina.

Other than that, he looks good now.

Name: Drax

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 29

Personality: Drax is a guy who prefers to get a job done and go home, he views himself as a regular person. He doesn't socialize often. And for the most part he is laid back unless he has something to say then he'll be assertive to tell them.

Looks: He stands 6.3 and weighs 265 his skin is brown while his black hair falls just over his shoulders, a gotee rest around his mouth. And he is almost never seen without wearing a pair of black combat boots with cargo pants, and a sleeveless vest, with black fingerless gloves which is only seen in combat.

Power: Biological Manipulation

He's granted the ability to both shapeshift and fashion his body into weapons. Such as turning his arm into a large razor blade that can cut through wood and iron, though it changes the color of his skin to a yellow brown hue. Also for use to trick his opponent he can change shape to look exactly like his opponent. (The change last for one post.)

His superhuman strength allows him to lift cars and trucks, this progression also allows him to manhandle humans and monsters his size and weight or smaller, he can also punch holes through walls.

(For harder hits he absorbs his own mass then charges it for one post. Once he attacks it will cause very high damage and when he misses he gets dizzy due to the amount of mass absorbed and used overtime.)

Like his strength his speed is enhanced and he is able to pass small cars.

He can perform amazing parkour feats such as flips and rolls and maneuvers over and around vehicles and debris with little trouble. His leg strength allows him to leap nearly ten stories into the air. (It must be charged for one post to reach ten stories.) Drax can run up sheer vertical surfaces and cling to walls for an indefinite period of time. He is also capable of gliding, by making his mass lighter in the air and ejecting small amounts of mass for further propulsion.

His endurance far exceeds that of a regular human. His body no longer possesses weak bones or vital organs, his biological change allows him to survive falls from any height even if the damage is moderate or high.

He can withstand direct shots from pistols and shotguns, which cause only moderate damage.

Abilities: He is described as a fighter he never sticks to one style of fighting for very long due to the type of opponents he engages. On top of this he's proficient with mixing power and fighting together.

Needle Arm: Drax will shoot out five medium needles from his skin and hardened them to cause moderate damage. From a distance this attack is helpful for far away foes.

Charge Punch: By absorbing mass into a single area Drax can cause high damage enough to punch through wood and iron, but at the cost of becoming dizzy or permanently injured in a certain area. In this case it would be his arm. (Takes one post to charge)

Razor Blade: This is Drax quick fix weapon he uses agains't his opponents a blade the length of his arm he uses to cut through wood, and iron.

Organic Club: Drax will form a club the length of his arm but 2x thicker to either attack his opponents or to reflect solid objects back at his foe with a harder swing the object that's been reflected travels 2x faster. (Can be charged to send solid objects back 4x faster.)

Armored Skin: The muscles on his skin become dense enough to shield him from weak and moderate physical and elemental projectile attacks. (When defending agains't moderate damage he has to charge his power for one post to completely block moderate damage and it can only be used once per turn)

Weakness: This defense isn't without its disadvantages for starters he has charge until it reaches full capacity which could give somebody else the opportunity to attack him not that leaves him vulnerable. If he is interrupted during the process of shielding it'll take one post before he can shield again.

Gust of Wind: By generating alot of mass he will clap his hands together to release a strong wave to blow his opponents that are five or ten feet in front of him five or ten feet back. He can also use this to redirect projectiles or put out flames. (Takes one post to reach ten)

Earthquake: Drax will generate enough mass to crack the ground beneath him to either avoid a seemingly unavoidable move or to cause the ground to shake throwing his opponent off that way they either become dizzy in mid of a powerful attack.

Cellular Cloning: He will split apart his cells to form a single duplicate that copies the user. Overtime like a few minutes it begins to form it's own personality. It can also be absorbed back into him.

Electric Knuckle: Drax manipulates the electrical currents in his body into his hand to use as a close quarters attack to electrocute his opponent or slightly paralysis them. (It only paralysis's them if it is charged from weak to high damage. (The effect last for ten seconds and the charge to full power takes one post.) The only draw back with this attack is that his power can be absorbed.

When he does this move at a distance he will speed up his cells to dash where his opponent is. Or use this attack to create an electrical current that travels from beneath the ground at one or two opponents within five or ten miles.

And with regards to power level, once a general one has been established by the other fighters, it's kind of rude (at the least) to come in with a significantly more powerful character that can bulldoze all the others without even breaking a sweat. He point of written arena combat isn't to show up with the biggest most badass powers, it's to out-write, out-wit, and out-fight your opponent. There'a no great victory in me crushing an ant under my boot, and frankly nobody cares that I did. The good fights are always the ones between equals. Or the ones where the underdog pulls off an amazing upset and beats the more powerful opponent (but there are limits to what a less powerful opponent can beat. Yuri Boyka will never beat Superman, for instance).

All that said, you'll be added to the end of the posting order once Max checks in.

Is my char underpowered in this?

Just asking, seeing as everyone else has like, extreme endurance and stamina.

I might change my maximum heat capacity to something like "A heat un recorded by man" or something.

I told you he was underpowered from the get-go. Lol.

Since he controls fire and it's his main power, I'd suggest a base temperature of 2,000 degrees Celsius for focused attacks (unfocused attacks should have reduced heat due to their drastically increased difficulty to avoid. This would prevent a PG move like lighting up the entire forest instantly with 2,000 degree fire, since otherwise you technically could do it), and you could charge it up at a rate of 2,000 degrees per charging post.

That would be my suggestion.

Change the heat in my CS to:
Mastery of fire magic. Improved further by his staff. Base temperature of 2,000 degrees Celsius for focused attacks. Charging up his magic can heat up the fire even further. Unfocused bursts of fire are around 600 degrees Celsius.

okay now that i'm back (i always miss the excitement DX) okay, as for the tier i did say any at first, but i also mentioned i'm new and have no real idea how the tiers work fully.

yes LeeRoy you're up. the posting order is on the first post in the OOC thread and has been updated, so if anyone is unsure where they are on the order it's there and here:
Schradinger
drallinix
LeeRoy
Derpestein
Ozymandeus
Max Shadow
Teoinsanity
Dean

after this fight is over i might put up a thread for more powerful characters.

and drallinix if you'd like (and everyone's okay with it) you can re-enter the fight with the same character since they're not dead and you went out rather early. if anyone has any objections to this please speak up.

The only reason he's not dead is because a second one of Drall's character's who was not given a sheet or approved for the fight swooped in out of nowhere and miraculously saved him at the last second. Anywhere else, that would be GMing.

The only way I'd be okay with Adrian rejoining is if Drall comes back before LeeRoy posts and finds a legitimate way to not die from my last attack. Being saved by your ethereal father from hell in the last instant before your brain fries is not a legitimate way, unless summoning said father to teleport you out of danger is one of your listed abilities and was approved for use.

I apologize if this sounds harsh, but by all rights Adrian's miraculous rescue shouldn't have been allowed in the first place, and the only reason I didn't object was because he was out of the fight either way and exactly how that happened is irrelevant. I'm not willing to allow him to use a GMing move to survive my attack then jump back into the fight entirely unharmed. It goes against every combat RP bone in my body, and would be a cheap shot to Arty. Sorry Drall.

If he wants to create a new character and join with him, I'd be perfectly okay with that, but if Arty was beaten by one of you I wouldn't expect to be able to bring him back into the same fight at prime fighting level just because he wasn't technically dead, even if the avoidance of death was a legitimate one.

Also: Dynamo has decided not to participate in this fight, so you can remove him from the post order.

At this point, just pick a target and run with it.

And with regards to your charging, prepped attacks only count if they're prepped for more than one post. LeeRoy's guy can defend against your attack as though it's an unprepped one, since you didn't wait at least one post to release it. That said, he is very flammable and has to be realistic in his defense... Lol.
