Meanwhile, as my siblings meaninglessly began arguing and feuding, I kept to my own forest, intent on not taking part in their foolish wars and debates. As long as my enchanted Forest, and my children, were left unmolested, I will be completely fine to allow them to ruin their own idiotic existence. Over time, I began advancing my...'kingdom'. The Kami were given more power - to help defend our home in case it was sieged upon by my brethren. Their manipulation of nature grew, and I, with my supreme and absolute power over the nature I was the embodiment of, gave them smoothe, elegant armor made of enchanted wood, personally melded and created by me. The wood was neigh resistant to my brother's fire, and neigh impenetrable to the gaudy iron and stone weapons created and fueled by my other brethren. However, over time in my peaceful Kingdom, I decided that a new...race was needed.
And so I crafted my next tools of citizen in my Kingdom. Peacefully luring a dozen or so humans into my forest, I exposed myself to them. They praised me, Okami - their God of Nature, and therefore I blessed them with my power. The power...of nature. They became part of the trees and roots, still maintaining a physical form, but now...different. I call them elves, noticeable by their lithe and graceful forms, minor control over nature and the seas, along with their tipped ears. Within time, I crafted an entire kingdom of elves and Kamis living peacefully with each other, learning from the other, growing in knowledge and power...and I, as their King, reigned over as their God as well. The life in the hidden and enchanted Okami Forest was tranquil and serene...as I envisioned, even as darkness spreaded amongst the rest of the land.
I knew, however, that I will eventually have to come out and deal with the idiotic Gods before they turn their vision to my Kingdom.
