Gin was once again quiet as Effy spoke, he lightly kissed her back as their lips touched. A familiar grin forms onto his features as she says those three magical words. His heart was pounding quite loudly, at least for a few moments before he quickly reaches his arms out, trying to wrap her into a very tight embrace. Just hugging onto her tightly and inhaling her scent before slowly exhaling, he even shook a bit. She was so brave, so brave and a whole lot stubborn.
"Do you really think Samual would be stupid enough to leave you in 'human' hands? Or in the care of someone he didn't think could do the job?" Gin asks, lifting his head a bit to peer down at her, slightly tilting his head. He had a rather worried look upon his features now, it filled his eyes and showed well in the sag of his shoulders. "I..." His breath was rather shaky. He had spent all of his life hiding what he was to humans, especially the past few years when things had become so dangerous. But he could do this, at least, he thought he could. "Have you ever wondered why I refused to go to the hospital that one time after I let that werewolf beat the crap out of me outside of Noir? Or how that werewolf broke his hand on my face? I mean, we both were covered in blood and he was using claws, but do you really know any normal, human male that can go toe to toe with a drunk werewolf and say that they got away with only a few scratches and a broken nose? And those scratches were gone practically within the hour."
Gin was trying to recall things that could indicate to her that he was not human. For the most part, Gin had played the part nearly perfectly. Though most of it just kept slipping from his mind, far to worried about Effy's reaction. Or if she would call him a liar... then he would really have to show her.
