While absolutely everybody in the game can agree that Jason Bright's ghouls were pretty crazy, they weren't stupid and/or malevolent. As long as Jason was around, they would never do something like that - and please remember, barring grisly intervention ghouls can live for a very, very long time.If the cult had harbored any intentions or beliefs within the aforementioned purview, they would have turned Chris into a ghoul. They went out of their way to keep him human. Also, there is no surefire way to turn humans into ghouls - it is a normally extremely rare occurrence made common by the Nuclear Apocalypse. 999/1000 humans will still die if you blast them with sufficient radiation to turn them into a ghoul. There also is no magical ghoul gene sequence that, when damaged by ionizing radiation, turns people into ghouls - the process is happenstance and unique to each individual. So if they decided to 'turn humans into ghouls,' they would run out of space to store the dead bodies before they had even one successful conversion.
Who's to say he's even alive? Those rockets were moving pretty damn fast from what I saw, and the chances of them crashing in a firey explosion seemed pretty likely. As for the dead bodies: Ghouls gotta eat too. But I'll admit it was a halfassed idea, just figured if anybody liked the sound of it they'd grab it and run with it
