Appearance: Alex has short shaggy brown hair, and hazel eyes, he has a clean shaved face, although he does have defined sideburns. Alex stands around 6'4, weighing around 190, he has broad shoulders and a toned body. Alex's nose is crooked due to repeatedly being broken. He is wearing his uniform, including his belt, with a empty holster. 

Gender: Male

Family: Alex has had little contact with any family over the years, everyone except his mother that is, who passed away a year before things went to hell. 
 
Personality: Alex has a calm, untrusting way about himself, although once he has begun trusting someone, he can be quite caring, but to anyone he doesn't know well, someone he hasn't had a chance to connect with, he is rather cold toward them. Alex is a strong willed leader, one who enjoys taking charge when the need arises. 

Bio: As a small kid, he admired his father for his service on the police force in the small town he grew up in, although early on he noticed his father had a different side to him, he could be a reckless, abusive and terrifying monster when he got drunk, which was often. His father abused his power, covering up his own crimes, while he put on a heroic facade tricking those he was most close with into thinking he was a good man, while his wife and son cowered in fear from his destructive and abusive personality. Alex grew up with fear in his heart, although when he came of age, he stood up to his father, he nearly beat him to death after he had beaten his mother, his father confessed to the crimes when his mother took things to the police, while he sat in jail, Alex worked his way into a police force, far from his home town. Alex was considered an exceptional officer, he was on a drug raid when things took a turn, he managed to escape although his squad car was hit from the side, and is somewhat damaged, although it still runs fairly well. 

Job Before The Outbreak: Cop

Disability/Fear: A debilitating fear of heights 

Weapon of Choice: A fully loaded shotgun in the back of his damaged squad car, along with a handful of shells.
