Gin was once again quiet as Effy spoke, he lightly kissed her back as their lips touched. A familiar grin forms onto his features as she says those three magical words. His heart was pounding quite loudly, at least for a few moments before he quickly reaches his arms out, trying to wrap her into a very tight embrace. Just hugging onto her tightly and inhaling her scent before slowly exhaling, he even shook a bit. She was so brave, so brave and a whole lot stubborn.

"Do you really think Samual would be stupid enough to leave you in 'human' hands? Or in the care of someone he didn't think could do the job?" Gin asks, lifting his head a bit to peer down at her, slightly tilting his head. He had a rather worried look upon his features now, it filled his eyes and showed well in the sag of his shoulders. "I..." His breath was rather shaky. He had spent all of his life hiding what he was to humans, especially the past few years when things had become so dangerous. But he could do this, at least, he thought he could. "Have you ever wondered why I refused to go to the hospital that one time after I let that werewolf beat the crap out of me outside of Noir? Or how that werewolf broke his hand on my face? I mean, we both were covered in blood and he was using claws, but do you really know any normal, human male that can go toe to toe with a drunk werewolf and say that they got away with only a few scratches and a broken nose? And those scratches were gone practically within the hour."

Gin was trying to recall things that could indicate to her that he was not human. For the most part, Gin had played the part nearly perfectly. Though most of it just kept slipping from his mind, far to worried about Effy's reaction. Or if she would call him a liar... then he would really have to show her.

For the first time ever, Effy stepped away from Gin. She stared at him with a blank expression, unsure of what to say or feel. Her mind felt torn. Magical creatures were the things of her nightmares, and her hatred for them ran deep. How could she have loved Gin for so long without realizing what he was? She felt dirty. They had loved one another more deeply than she thought possible. He had slept in her bed, and made love to her in the early hours of the night. How could she not have known? "Please, stop. Don't tell me you're not human. I don't want to hear it. I don't want to know you're like the creatures that hunt me at night." she whispered. Her heart told her that he was not like the others, but her mind screamed that he was. A filthy animal that would leave her to die at the first chance he got.

"Please, don't hurt me..." Effy begged, her fragile body beginning to violently shake. She turned away from Gin, raising her arms in a pathetic effort to protect herself. Bracing herself for claws or fangs or both she closed her eyes, holding herself until she was red in the face. She was terrified of what Gin might do to her. What if he was the necromancer and this was all just an elaborate scheme? Tears began dripping down her cheeks, though she barely even noticed she was crying.

Gin, for once, let out a low whimper. That is what he was afraid of, Effy moving away from him in fear. He stood still for several moments, in utter horror. He had heard her in her sleep a few times, about her fear of magical beings, of why. Though he never brought it up to her because that was her personal business that she didn't want to talk about, and he wasn't going to force her to do so. But it always weighed heavily on his mind, always. All those nights of speculating how she would react if she found out, and now he knew. It was something he didn't want to see, not now, not ever again. This was just horrible.

"Effy..." Gin manages out, sucking in a sharp breath, he didn't dare raise his hands towards her at the moment. He wasn't sure what to do, how he could fix this. "Effy, look at me, please. Please look at me." Out of instinct, Gin lowered his head a bit, looking towards Effy with a somewhat lowered gaze. His shoulders remained slumped, he wasn't moving to close her in or anything, despite so badly wanting to hold her and tell her that he 'was human'. His look now was one of submission. But in his mind now, the only thing he could really do was be completely honest with her.

"Effy, I'd never hurt you. Not now, not in a hundred years, not ever. I'd rather end myself than do that, I can't even imagine harming you. I've only ever wanted to keep you safe, from the very moment we met. You've got a very special place in my heart, I don't like many people, human or magical being... I love you. I love you so much that it physically hurts just thinking of anyone else touching you, or you loving anyone else." Gin sort of stopped talking for a few moments, slowly lifting a slightly shaky hand to place it over his heart. His chest felt so heavy, he was quite sure his heart was going to beat right out of his chest already.

"I... I understand if you don't want my help, or to see me ever again..." He slowly lifts both his hands up, raking them through his chair, pushing it back from his eyes while he looked at her. "I am one of those monsters you are so afraid of. If I could just lay down and die right now I would, because you being afraid of me is enough to kill me. But you are still in danger and I fully intend to keep you from that necromancer and whomever else might head your way to hurt you." At this point, Gin was now looking at Effy's feet. He couldn't look at her crying face. If he did, there was a good chance he was just going to topple over onto the floor like a ragdoll.

"What are you, Gin?" Effy asked in a flat voice. The question felt odd as it rolled off her tongue. She had never dreamed that he was anything more or less than human...yet here they were. It was Effy's turn to look a Gin, to have her heart broken due to the state he was in. He seemed so small, almost as if he had been deflated. She couldn't take this. Swallowing her fear and ignoring her instinct, she move closer to the shell of a man that stood before her. Forcing him to look into her eyes, she spoke "For months after the attack, I was terrified. I couldn't leave my loft. When I met you, it was like you breathed life back into me. I wasn't afraid anymore. You made me feel safe. Despite what you are...you still make me feel safe. God, I want to hate you. I want to tell you to leave and never return, but I can't. I fucking can't." her voice shook, and tears continued to spill down her cheeks. "You stupid bastard. I...I love you, and part of me knows I always will." She pressed her lips to his once again, channeling all her anger, pain, and sorrows into the kiss.

Things would never be the same. For as long as she lived, things would never be the same. What this meant for her and Gin, she did not know. All she knew as that she could no longer stay here. Effy glanced around the small loft, her heart breaking even more. This was one vacation she had no desire to take.

She let out a shaky breath as she pulled out her hair, letting it fall down her back like a blonde, curly waterfall. Effy ran her hands through it repeatedly, a nervous habit she had developed over the years. "Let's leave before someone comes looking for me." She grabbed her duffel bag and headed for the door without another backwards glance.

Gin found little relief, even as Effy spoke and gave him another, very emotionally charged kiss. While he could tell what emotions they were, he couldn't quite 'feel' them as he usually did. He felt numb in an odd sense that he couldn't quite place. His chest was still quite heavy, he wanted to beat himself to death over something he had no control over. He had the faint, distant thought of wishing he was human. If he was human, he wouldn't have had to see tears like that from Effy, nor all of that fear of him. But if he wasn't what he was now, he would have never met Effy, nor would he have ever been able to protect her as he had and would continue to do.

With a light shake of his head, Gin shook off the thoughts, though the heaviness remained on his chest. He manged to pick his head up, steadily regaining some of his usual stance. Somehow he managed to shuffle past Effy and open the door for her, closing it behind them with a soft sigh. "I am really going to miss this place. My favorite spot in the entire city." Which was very true. Gin loved Effy's home, maybe more than she did. The place held her scent so well and he loved it. "Maybe we can come back someday. Maybe sooner rather than later." As they began to leave the building, Gin tilted his head from side to side, finally deciding to answer her previous question.

"Shapeshifter." He states simply as his eyes quickly start to scan around cautiously, pushing his mind free of all the worry he was holding in until they were somewhere at least a bit safer.

"I think you're going to miss it more than I will." Effy said as she repositioned the bag on her shoulder. This was fucking crazy. She was fucking crazy, leaving everything behind at the urgings of a monster. No, Gin wasn't a monster; she didn't know what to think he was. "I know you hate it, but you're going to have to drive. You know where we'll be safe." Pushing passed Gin, as she made her way out of the building and into the night.

The air was oddly cool for a summer night, making Effy wish she had thought to grab a jacket. There was no one to be seen on the street, but somehow she felt as if they weren't alone. Yellow eyes, or what she thought were eyes at a glance, peered at them from the shadows. She glanced at Gin, searching his face. His mannerism seemed foreign to her, his body only a little less deflated than before. Guilt filled her, replacing the fear with something worse. She wanted to reverse time, change the way she had reacted, but she couldn't. There was only room to move forward at this point. She groaned. "Would you mind cluing me in as to why a necromancer wants me for his...collection?" Collection of what, Effy didn't want to know. She was already part of a collection. Samual's collection. She had no desire to be part of another one.

Drive? Drrriiiive? Nearly instantly Gin popped right back into place, making a very familiar, exasperated face. "Drive? Me? I nearly ran an entire intersection of people over last time I drove." He huffs a bit, but eventually nods. He could drive them to their next location before they had to ditch her car. He was not very thrilled though, it was at least a forty minute drive from here to his place, and that was not counting traffic or anything else that got ran into.

"And why he wants you for his collection...?" Gin is silent a moment before he manages a small shrug. "Many things. Necromancers are a dangerous bunch who enjoy reanimating people to be their puppets. They like to add people that have power, or suit their tastes other places. Not all of them are that vile, though. There are a few that only went down such a path to revive a loved one." Then again, Gin just shrugged as he usually did when telling anyone about something. Gin wasn't really into the whole necromancy thing. If someone died, they should stay dead. But as he looked over at Effy, he could understand the want to bring them back into the world of the living, even if it was only temporary. But would it really be that satisfying? Gin just shakes his head and lets out a soft snort.

The night air was rather refreshing for Gin. His cloths felt like a second skin and considering how he liked to have them baggy, it made him feel a bit claustrophobic. The chill was comforting to his still over-heated skin, and with the added sweat it just made it all the cooler. He wasn't really looking around as he wanted to be, merely taking a few moments to relax in the cooling night air. Though suddenly he was shaking his head, grinning a bit. "Do you like cats?" He asks suddenly, seemingly random as he stops for a second. "Car keys?"

Effy threw Gin her keys, her thoughts racing. What the hell cats had to do with escaping necromancers, she did not know. "I guess cats are okay. I don't know, I'm allergic." She was exasperated. Too many things were going on at once. she wished it would all just slow down. If she were a magical creature, she would have stopped time hours ago and disappeared into the night. "I swear to fuck, shit like this would only happen to me."

She slid into her VW Bug, climbing over to the passenger seat once she had realized her mistake. Folding her hands into her lap she sat in silence, waiting. She waited for a hooded man to jump in front of the car. Or for a werewolf to sit up in the cramped back seat. In a span of two hours, her world had crumbled around her. That had to be a record. Where was Guinness when you needed them? "Where are we going?" she asked as the slamming of Gin's door brought her back to the harsh reality she was in.

"Ah, alright. Hopefully you wont be allergic to this one. At any rate we are heading over to Izzy's to grab some of my things and then we are going to play a bit of cat and mouse for a while until things settle down and hopefully all this blows over." Gin sat in the seat a bit awkwardly, he really didn't like driving and the inside of this thing felt like a trap. But he shakes it off and quickly starts up the VW Bug and starts to drive off down the road. "Actually, we are not even going to go to Izzy's. Do you remember that one guy I use to hang out with a lot when you first met me? The one with the black and white hair and pale complexion? Sort of looked like he didn't belong here and didn't even drink a drop of beer or anything?"

"We are going to his place for a bit, not long, just a short while." Other than that though, Gin was quiet while he drove. They made countless turns down unnamed streets, did some circles here or there... it might have seemed like he didn't have a clue where he was going, but Gin didn't even break eye-contact from the road. It was almost like he was running off of some internal driving map. It was a good twenty minutes of doing this. Though just as he goes to make another turn, he stops the car directly on a corner and lets out a low huff before continuing. "I really hate driving." And with that, he is off down a rather quiet, almost dark neighbor hood with a small church. Though they don't get much farther down the street, he stops the vehicle on the other side of the street of the church.

"Alright, were here." Gin sucks in a sharp breath, peering to Effy a bit nervously. "If any of the cats jump on you or are too pushy, just tell them no and they will back off, they are fairly tame."

Effy stared at Gin with expressionless eyes. Pushy cats? Visiting someone she hadn't seen in at least nine months? This was all too much. Too much far too soon. With a sigh she rested her head against the window, closing her eyes as her breath fogged up the window. She tried her best to collect her thoughts, but quickly abandoned the attempt. It would have been easier to herd blind cants."We're going into the creepy looking church, aren't we?" She had to ask, though she already new the question. Of course they were going into the church. Where else would they go?

Effy got out of the car, meows resounding around her as she slammed the door. Five cats of different sizes and colors darted out at her, rubbing themselves against her legs with loud purrs and tails happily swaying. A sleek black and white cat with vibrant eyes rocketed himself into her arms. For some reason unknown to her she held him close, burying her face in his soft fur. He purred contentedly, head resting on Effy's shoulder. He winked at Gin, as if to say "got your girl."

"I feel like a crazy cat lady. Cats usually hate me, so this is kinda freaking me out." Effy said as she reluctantly lifted her face from the cat's back. Of all things that should have freaked her out, it was this. Odd.

Gin would glare at the black and white cat from the other side of the car. While five had appeared to swamp Effy, a couple had appeared from elsewhere to swamp him. Two of them had jumped onto his shoulders and were clinging on carefully, rubbing their faces against his. But Gin couldn't quite help himself as he let out a small huff, slowly reaching his hands up to pet both of the tan Siamese cats as they began to purr loudly with contentness at being petted. "Right?" He says with a bit of a laugh. "They are all real sweethearts though." He murmurs, quickly locking the car before carefully making his way around the VW Bug, the two cats still on his shoulders, now both peering at Effy.

He still eyes the cat a bit wearily, managing out a bit of a laugh. "Ruuuude." He says towards the cat Effy, and quickly the two cats that rested on his shoulders stopped peering at Effy and began to purr and rub themselves all over his face again as if trying to comfort him from the sudden jealousy... over a cat. Maybe it was because what had happened not even a full hour ago, or maybe he had always just been a bit jealous when others touched her.

"Wow. Don't you two look like complete crap." A voice suddenly begins as a rather tall man starts to make his way over towards them, heading from behind the church it seemed. There were even more cats following the strange fellow, all of them just following along rather happily and contently. Tucked into the front pocket of his shirt was large, and a kitten had its head poking out. From a quick glance the man looked exactly as he had all those months ago, and in reality, Gin wasn't surprised.

"Ah, Flauros, my fri-" And before he could finish speaking, both of the cats simultaneously headbutted Gin. He just sort of stood there, now blinking.

"You, what are -you- doing here? Do you know how troublesome you are, what trouble you always bring?" Flauros would be glaring holes into Gin as he continued to walk towards them, but eventually he comes to a stop before he crosses the street, glancing towards Effy. "And you." He starts, no longer glaring. In fact, it looked like he had completely switched faces. There was a painfully friendly look to him now as he looks at her. "You look like you need a break. And maybe some tea, or a beer. Maybe vodka."

Flauros lets out a loud sigh before looking back towards Gin. "I hate you. Not in the kidding way, either. I really hate you, you always show up wanting something and I always somehow become obliged to help you." He is silent a moment. "And this time is no different. Come along, the both of you." He simply states before spinning on his heel and heading towards the back of the church, all the cats still following him. He does not even glance back to see if the two are following.

Effy followed him quickly, excited by the prospect of vodka. There was no situation that alcohol couldn't remedy. It was the perfect cure all, fixing everything from broken hearts to self esteem issues. The black and white cat was still wrapped tightly in Effy's arms, and now appeared to be smirking at Gin. If Effy was shocked by Flauros' rude remarks towards gin, she didn't show it. She was curious as to why their new companion hated Gin so much and what type of trouble he was referring to. Had Gin brought issues such as this to him before? She highly doubted it, but she thought it was best if she didn't ask many questions when it came to matters such as that.

"How have you been, Flauros?" Effy asked as she bridged the gap between them. She had to job to keep up with his large strides. "Oh, and I like your cat. If I didn't know better, I would try and steal him." She nodded towards the cat in her arms whom was still purring contentedly. She glanced at the large man, trying to gauge his reaction to her questions and statement. Nothing. It would have been easier for her to read a book in a foreign language than it was to read this man.

Flauros turns and offers a rather warm smile towards Effy and the cat she held. "He is a very interesting one, that is for sure. He likes to make people jealous. As for how I have been doing, well, much better than you, if you must know." But that is all Flauros says before turning his gaze towards Gin who was keeping up rather easily, but was silent while petting the two cats that still held onto his shoulders. It took only a few minutes but well hidden behind the church was what appeared to be a shed! Flauros walked forward quickly and opened the shed door and walked inside... or well, down stairs. The cats that had been following him quickly darted ahead. A few remained behind and sat patiently, waiting for everyone to go inside.

Down the stairs led to another door, which thankfully this door lead to a large room. The room was well lit and somehow looked as if all these cats had never even lived there. There were no claw marks on anything, or any fur for that matter. There was a kitchen in the far right corner with a rather large fridge, and a MASSIVE bag of cat food beside it. All along the right wall was a giant rack, mainly filled with various kinds of booze and the alike. A few chairs were near the center of the room along with a rather large cat-shaped pillow that could have easily been mistaken for a bed. It could have fit nearly five fully grown adults with ease. There were two other doors on either side of the room as well, ironically with large cat doors in the bottoms of them.

"Please, make yourselves at home here in this room. Take what you want from the shelves and the kitchen. I will be right back." And that was it, Flauros moved right along and slipped through a well hidden door near the fridge. Several of the cats now sat beside the door, waiting patiently while a few followed him into the other room.

Gin moved right into the room and found himself in one of the chairs by the center of the room, near the massive bed-pillow thing. Two of the cats jumped into his lap right away, and one of the cats that had been on Gin's shoulder jumped off to hobble into one of the rooms... "And I know you are curious. I only brought trouble to his door once and it was because I was really sick. He isn't such a bad guy once you get past his... uhm... you know." Gin sort of waves a hand a bit awkwardly, not quite sure on what word he should use to describe the strange man and all his cats. All of his so very loving and strange cats.

"But he did mean you could take what you wanted from here. Want me to grab a few glasses for shots, or are we taking it straight from the bottle today?" He asked, now petting the four cats that had allocated onto him.

Effy was way ahead of Gin, and had replaced her feline friend with a large bottle of vodka. "You can grab your own bottle, this one is mine." She had collapsed onto the cat pillow, a herd of cats flocking to her as if she was covered in catnip. The black and white cat his protectively, settling himself on her lap. With bottle in hand she fell back, her head resting on the floor. She poured the clear liquid directly into her mouth, choking a little as she tried to swallow.

"So, what exactly is he? Flauros?" Effy asked as curiosity got the best of her. Months ago, she would have never even asked a question such as that. She would have never doubted he was anything more than human. Odd and a little eccentric, but human nonetheless. As she waited for Gin to answer her question, she poured more of the vodka into her mouth. Swallowing hard, this time without choking. She was mildly proud of herself on this very, very small accomplishment.

A cold numbness began creeping into her as she laid there in silence. Effy was terrified, and more than that...she was angry. She was angry at everyone around her for lying to her for so long. Angry at Gin for making her love him. She held back a scream as she covered her face with her hands.

Gin was quiet as Effy spoke, asking what Flauros was. He couldn't really answer such a thing, even if he wanted to. Gin didn't fully know who Flauros was aside from the fact that he was powerful in many different ways. Healing was one of them, the ability to turn into a leopard was another, and the rest Gin wasn't too sure about. Letting out a groan, Gin leans back in his chair. He now only had two cats on himself, most of them had flocked over to Effy after she plopped down. He silently reached a hand up to pat the cat that remained on his shoulder loyally.

"Well, you'll have to ask him that. Not everyone is willing to tell everyone about what they really are. There are quite a few of us that hate it ourselves, so we don't see a need to share. Flauros is sort of one of those, on top of that he likes to keep it a secret. But if you ask... I have a feeling he will tell you, if you really wanted to know." Slowly Gin finally gets up and moves over to the shelves. He scans them over, letting out a soft sigh. He was already starting to deflate again. He just sort of ends up standing there, staring blankly at all the bottles. But he was dragged out of the blankness as the cat on his shoulder lightly headbutted his cheek. A faint smile forms onto his face, slowly reaching up to grab one of the various bottles before moving back to his chair.

"Effy, I-" And Gin was once again interrupted, by the cat on his shoulder. Lightly the cat swashed its tail over his face, catching him off guard, then it merely paws at the bottle. Why did Flauros keep such cats? "Fine, fine!" He grumbles at the feline as he lightly rubs his face into its fur while he goes about working to unscrew the special cap on the bottle.

Effy had not heard him call her name, she was too taken by the bottle of vodka. She would drink until the world around her was black. It was the only way she knew how to cope with things. Alcohol was not the answer to all her questions, but it sure as hell made her forget what she was asking. With a glance at Gin, she began to chug the bottle. Before long she had already downed a third. She was beginning to feel ill, but was determined to continue drinking. Anything to help her forget what was going on around her.

Effy had made her way through half the bottle of vodka before Gin was even able to take a sip of his. She pointed at Gin, one eye opened and one eye closed. Her body swayed back and forth ever so slightly as she did her best to push herself into a sitting position. After what felt like years, she was finally sitting up with one eye still trained on Gin. "Gin, tell me something." She slurred. "Why do I love you soooooooooooooo much, when all I wanna do right now is hit that pretty little face of yours with a bottle?" The question seemed reasonable to her. Then again, everything seemed reasonable at the moment. "Sober me wouldn't tell you this, but I'm scared shitless of this...dead bringer back to lifer guy. He sounds like a right dick." She took a giant gulp of the vodka before continuing on. "I just don't want to see you get hurt, because I don't know if I've mentioned this...but I love you. I'm sorry I sleep with other men. I don't like to, but I don't have a choice" Rants like these had grown increasingly common during her episodes of drinking. It was as if her conscious was trying to clean itself.

Effy fell back onto the pillow with the vodka clutched to her chest. Somehow she had managed to put the cap back on before falling back.

Gin was silent as Effy spoke drunkenly. Gin himself had only take a few sips from the bottle he had grabbed. For Gin, drinking wasn't a way to forget, it was merely for fun. And on top of that, he had to be in the mood for it, which he really wasn't at the moment. Instead he remained sitting in his chair with the cat on his shoulder, holding the still nearly full bottle in his lap. He didn't seem to know what to say exactly, even after she fell back onto the pillow. She basically told him things he already knew, though it was nice to have some reassurance. So as usual, he just nods to her and smiles softly.

Flauros poked his head out of the other room, frowning a bit towards Gin. Though the frown fades quickly as he spots Effy, the human, was seen to be drunk already. He then looked towards Gin once again, a pair of bright yellow cat-like eyes narrowing at him as Flauros finally steps out from the room and closes the door behind him silently. The cats had already all dispersed elsewhere, sleeping, eating, probably in the other room.

"Not drinking much, Gin? I though you lived to get hammered with the humans?" He asked a bit cautiously, taking a few steps towards the large cat pillow. "Anyway. I know what you are here for and I can help you. But you are going to owe me. A lot. Especially since you two are hiding out here at the moment, you know I don't do the whole 'help me I need to hide' crap." Flauros merely began to talk as if Effy wasn't there, probably because she was drunk and likely to pass out soon anyway. "You can stay here until she is sober. That does not mean you keep feeding her drinks, either. I'll be back within the hour, key is under the mat you said, right?"

Gin didn't even have time to reply to Flauros as he promptly takes off back out the door they had all entered from. A soft sigh escapes him as he leans forward a bit in his chair, gazing at Effy. "Ah, I'm really sorry, Effy." Gin blurts out. "I love you a lot, I really do. I probably would have told you sooner if I hadn't found out what had happened before and how badly we scared you." He is quiet a moment as he sets down his bottle by the chair. "And to think all of this could have been avoided if Micael had killed him like he said he would." Another soft sigh escapes Gin as he lightly shakes his head.

Effy perked up at the sound of her name, though she wasn't sure why it had been said. Something told her that she was being scolded for something that she had done. Possibly she was being scolded for drinking half a bottle of vodka by herself. "Micael? As in the demon?" Effy asked, blowing strands of blonde hair out of her face. She couldn't remember how she knew Micael, but she felt as if their meeting had been a thoroughly unpleasant one on her part.

The drunken girl sat up once again, her eyes wide with fear as she realized who Micael was. "Micael...he's the one...he's the..." She swallowed her words, uncapping the bottle of vodka. If she was beginning to remember, she wasn't drunk enough. She was never drunk enough.

Gin blinks a bit as Effy spoke. Ah, of course. Micael had done a lot of bad things to a lot of people, human and otherwise. He found himself frowning, brows knitted together as he now looked towards the woman drinking on the over-sized cat pillow rather intently as he spoke. He wasn't sure if he should ask or not, or if he should push the issue... but he was curious. Very curious. And Flauros was no longer here.

"Effy, dear..." Gin starts. "What did he do?" Gin watched her rather carefully now, wondering if he should take the bottle from her within the next few moments or not. If he did that he was sure he'd get an answer and a tantrum, or probably get hit. Maybe all three and some tears. But he shakes his head, he wouldn't be so mean to her, not like that. "What did he do?" Gin repeated, making sure she heard him. Eventually though he dropped off of the chair he was on, now crouching on the edge of the pillow. The cat had finally hopped off of his shoulder and ran off elsewhere, he was now cat free! Though quickly his mind went back to Micael... just what had he done to Effy? Was he the one that caused all this trouble and her hate for magical kind...?

Effy frowned at his question. Why did he ask her that question? Why couldn't he have asked for something simple like a kiss or a lap dance? She sighed, closing her eyes as she screwed up her face in thought. "He came to see me at Noir, and told me that I was the most beautiful human he had ever seen. He was drawn to me." Tears began dripping out of the corner of her eyes as she continued on. "I don't remember why, but I felt compelled to go home with him that night. It was as if I couldn't say no. The torture started as soon as we got in the car. He cut my inner thighs with one of his nails, slowly licking up the blood as it dripped to the leather. As much as I wanted him to stop, I had no desire to push him away...so he continued. I felt so dirty. I still feel dirty." The thin girl had begun to shake, but she pushed on. "Once we reached his flat, the real torture began. He passed me around to his friends as if I were a joint. Instead of raping me, they killed me....each one killing me in a different way. I only remember how I died the first and last times, the others are just a blur. The first time I was thrown off a balcony with a rope tied to my next. The last time, I was given an air embolism; I felt my heart explode in my chest. Every time I woke up, though. Every time I was in the same dark room, lying on the floor. Micael grew tired of killing me, though, he said the ways they were choosing to kill me weren't interesting enough for him. Sexual abuse was much more fitting for me, he told me."

Effy couldn't continue on. She couldn't tell Gin all the things Micael had made her do.
