The Doctor laughed slightly nodding. "Yes, I would. Thank you." She then straightened up before she turned around and began walking towards the TARDIS. "Right then, I'll be off!" She then quickly turns around to face Dexter. A teasing smile on her lips. "Unless, er, I don't know, you could come with me. This box isn't just a London hopper, you know. It goes anywhere in the universe free of charge." She said giving the TARDIS a pat.

"Don't go Dexter, that thing's an alien!" Jessica says frantic with fear at what she had gone through. Oh Dexter wanted to. He had longed for something better than this life and going to touch the stars, what human didn't dream of that? But he was going to do something he knew he would always regret. "Sorry, someone has got to look after these lumps that attach themselves to me." He says in a 'I really don't want to do this tone', that was hidden by a tone of 'oh god please don't take me serious' or 'please ask again' whichever one worked. Because he really did want to go with her. She needed someone to take away that sadness in her blue eyes.

The Doctor decided to have a little fun. She became oblivious. She nodded sadly. "It's fine, I get it." She said and threw him a half-hearted grin before turning around and walking into the TARDIS. And within seconds it started to dissappear. It was gone for a full minute before it came back. The wheezing sound announcing it's arrival. Then, the door cracked open and the Doctor peeked her her head out with a smirk.

"Did I mention it travels in time?" She said to him with a teasing glint in her eye. She gave him a wink before she retreated back inside. The door still open.

Dexter sighs and gets Jessica up from the street as the Doctor disappeared in that beautiful machine of hers beating himself up for refusing but wearing a small smile for Jess anyway, turning around, when the sound came back and his heart jumped in joy and she says that it traveled in time too. Now that settled it. "Thanks." He said kissing Jess's cheek.
"For what?" She asked dazed.
"Exactly." He pointed out running into the time and space machine closing the door behind him grinning like a madman. Which he supposed he was for going along with someone he barely knew.

The Doctor leaned against the console, when she disapeared she'd changed clothes. Thankfully. She had her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. "Right then, Dexter, you tell me. Where do you want to go? Backwards or forwards in time. It's your choice. What's it going to be?" The Doctor asked him, curious as to what he'd say.

Dexter thought about it and grins. "How about forwards a hundred years?" He asked, for it was typical to want to be a part of the past. But why not see the future? And she did say backward or forward. "Your ship does have a name doesn't it?" He asked as he hadn't gotten it.

The Doctor nodded before she ran around the console, going 100 years into the future. While doing that, she explained to him the TARDIS. "TARDIS, she's called the TARDIS. Stands for: Time And Relative Dimension In Space." She recited by memory. Then, there was a huge thump, almost making her fall, before there was silence. She then turned to Dexter with a grin. "There you go. Step outside those doors, it's the twenty second century." She said before she had a thought. Her grin widened. "That's a bit boring, though." She walked closer to him. "Do you want to go further?" She said, a glint in her eye.

"She?" Dexter asked as the ship shook, making him grab onto something for leverage. She asked him if he wanted to go further into the future with a grin, which he matched. "You think you're so impressive." He challenged with a teasing smile on his lips.

"Yes, the TARDIS is a she. She's not a machine after all." The Doctor had said, only to feel cocky when Dexter mentioned that she was so impressive. She looked at him, knowing a challenge when she heard one. "Actually, I am so impressive." She said with a smirk.

"Prove it then." Dexter challenged outright his eyes dancing and echoing the emotion he felt when she would let her barriers down and smile like that. Not a machine? So the TARDIS was sentient then? Well it wasn't the weirdest thing he's heard today.

The Doctor felt her ego grow. "Right then, you asked for it. I know exactly where to go." She said before she turned to the console and began piloting it....somewhere amazing. There was shaking. "Hold on!" She yelled to him, just as the TARDIS began jerkin around, going through the time vortex. After a few seconds the TARDIS stopped. The Doctor stood straight before giving Dexter a huge grin. She then motioned for him to open the door.

Dexter held onto the railing again as the TARDIS shook around and landed solidly somewhere into the far distant future. She motioned for him to go first and he smiles. This was some time way in the future after he was no longer around and wanted to go looking at what they were wearing. "Sure we won't stick out like sore thumbs?" He asked as he was still wearing the clothes he had put on that morning and didn't really want to cause that much of a stir whenever it was they were.

"Don't worry about it. I never change into the correct clothes and I'm fine. Just walk like normal. No one questions it." She said with a dismissive wave of her hand.

Dexter shrugged and went outside of the TARDIS curious as to when they were looking around noticing that they were on some sort of spaceship. He glanced around curiously not able to help himself as he glanced about and saw a window. Best way to figure out at least where you are it to look out a window if there is one I suppose. He thought and went towards the window.

The Doctor walks forward, leaning against the window. "You lot, you spend all your time thinking about dying, like you're going to get killed by eggs or beef or global warming or asteroids. But you never take time to imagine the impossible, that maybe you survive. This is the year five point five slash apple slash twenty six. Five billion years in your future, and this is the day," She looks at her wrist watch adn right on cue, the sun flares and then turns red. "This is the day the Sun expands. Welcome to the end of the world." She said giving him a small smile.

Dexter looked at the scene his eyes wide in awe as his thoughts buzzed around in his head. Which one to address first? "Is there anyone else down there?" He asked fearful of any other person on that blue and green planet he had spent his twenty-three years on. He didn't know if they left or not, or if they were going to get roasted by the sun. "How about the plates? Don't they move at all?" He asked the follow up questions curiously.

The Doctor answered his questions quickly. " It's empty. They're all gone. No one left." She explained. She was about to explain when she was interrupted by a voice. A blue person with golden eyes walked over to them. Questioning who they were and that they were in an maximum hospitality zone. So, the Doctor played it off. She took out her psychic paper and showed it to him. "I'm a guest. Look, I've got an invitation. Look. There, you see? It's fine, you see? The Doctor plus one. I'm the Doctor, this is Dexter. He's my plus one. Is that all right?" "Well, obviously. Apologies, et cetera. If you're on board, we'd better start. Enjoy." He responded to them in a bored tone before stomping off.

"So what this is like a party or something?" Dexter asked curiously having blinked after the blue alien walked off. That was an actual alien. Sure the Doctor was an alien too...although she looked human. Actually. "Why is it that you look human?" He asked curiously. For when you thought of aliens the first image you got in your head was stereotypical sure, but he hadn't exactly been warned what to expect.

The Doctor chuckled. "You could say that. But, it's basically multiple species are all gathered here to witness the destruction and the end of planet earth." She said before tensing a bit when he questioned why she looked human. But, she got over it a milisecond later. "Well, actually, my species came first so technically humans all look like us." She said in a smart tone, a smirk back on her face.

Dexter rolled his eyes amused. "Well, hopefully I won't make such a muck of things." He said worried that he'd do that anyway curious about what her species was if she was indeed an alien. Well, it would make sense as she seemed to be the only one capable of piloting the TARDIS and it looked mighty difficult. But what species could have started to look human before humans came along? And how long did her species live for? But he recognized the 'DO NOT TOUCH' red tape she put over that conversation. She'd tell him when she was ready to and no sooner. He offered his arm to her. "So, miss Doctor, shall we join the others gathered here to say goodbye to the Earth?" He asked with a smile to let her know he had dropped the conversation, and would only pick it up at her say so.
