Heyitsjiwon, I don't have any issues with your character so It's accepted (if it's done). As for Sifter, your character seems good so far, just get him done and then it shall be checked once more.

Snipers work alone... Marksmen work with a squad and extend the reach of the squad... Sniping with a no scope, sorry... But your character is defineately not Vasily Zaytsev.

The role of the support gunner and designated marksmen are similar. The support gunner provide fire support in a large area and helps suppress with sheer volume of lead. The DM is meant to provide fire support on an individual target instead of an area and suppress with accuracy. Also... take a scope off a gun? Don't you have a MP7 for that? Also, the M110 isn't really a marksman rifle... It's a bit too big and heavy for that. I was under the impression that the "Virgin" was a marksman with his M14.

I was just saying that the M110 is versatile enough in it's own right that if necessary I could shoot someone across the street, where as a sniper rifle, like one of those .50 cal beasts, would be clunky and hard to use.

And Sifter, I never said anything about sniping without the scope. I said take it off to fire across a street. That's, like, 20-30 feet away, handgun range. Of course I'm not sniping, I'm just saying that a scope would be a bit of a hindrance in that close quarters, probably. :P

I think its the wording you use, but the M110 is a sniper rifle. That's a fact, but it is a bit more versatile than an anti-material rifle like a .50 cal, but please. Don't go lugging it around like a M16 cause once again. It's too big to be considered a battle rifle or a marksman rifle. That is a complete sniper system you've got there, and prone to getting damaged/worn down. You have a MP7 anyways, which is a fine gun on its own.

Good point. I apologize but I'm not a super gun nerd. Literally all I know about the M110 is what I found on wikipedia. :P

I'll keep that in mind, Jiwon.

So I gotta say. It doesn't really seem like anyone else is going to join. Do you think we could go ahead and start with what we got? It seems like a pretty decent team, and 5 players isn't a bad amount. I'm just really itchin' to start playing as Warren, for the most part.

It looks like he's almost done to me. In any case, I've invited another friend of mine named Vertical to the party, and he said he would be joining. It'll be nice to get the OOC up as well, since most of us are either done or mostly finished with making our characters our characters. By the way, since everyone else found pictures for their characters, I've found one that I think suits Warren well enough,
