Ren grinned as the compliments rained down upon him. [i]So she noticed my good form eh? And I'm excellent... nothing I didn't know already.[/i] These boosted his already inflated ego to new bounds. His increased confidence was short-lived because soon after, then came the criticisms. She tore into him. He loved to show off, it was the core of his being. The main reason he did most of it was to display his skill. He only added the personal touch, to add a laugh. His advances were more of a joke than anything serious in his mind. Just some light-hearted humor, but he could see that he took it too far. The words Olivia had spoken stung and how he squirmed under her scrutinizing gaze. [i]Maybe I should take this more seriously...at least so she'll get off my back.[/i] 

Lorenzo burst out at the sight, apparently he had struck his funny bone.

"I'm sorry I just couldn't resist," Lorenzo said walking over to him. He was laughing so hard tears were forming in his eyes.

Ren smiled as he replied,"It's fine man, I'd do the same to you." Maybe he'd make a friend out of this yet.

So his name was Kiddo then?... Hmm... Odd... I guess we'll see how talented he is! He glanced over at Cassandra and saw she was giving him a shy smile before looking away. [i]So she must have been impressed then.... I can work with that.[/i] He started to grin and looked forward to seeing what Kiddo could do. So far, he was impressed with his classmates. He doubted the next would be any different.
