Cassandra found herself laughing, "you could" she agreed. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep her hand hidden forever, not if they were sharing a room. She needed to be able to take her hand out the glove, or she'd go crazy. So she stepped back, deciding that she might as well trust someone, and she carefully took the glove off her left hand, saying softly "here's the difference between you and me. I trust my instincts" she pulled the glove off, revealing the birthmark on her hand. Her hand was red, warm from the glove, and she felt relief at having it free from it's leather prison, even if it was only for a few minutes. The birthmark marked that her birth father was a demon. "You see, there has to be a reason why we are roommates-they don't generally put irks with boys, I imagine. Teens of the opposite gender in the same room? That's just a bomb waiting to happen really. So there has to be a reason"
