You guys have all this cool heritage. I have no clue what my family was. I do know I have a few that were in world war 2 and Vietnam. Oh and apparently my great grandpa was in world war I but fought for Germany. I know not cool. but that's as far as I know. Haha

If they fought then thats fairly impressive. As for him fighting for Germany i would not say that its "not cool" because1. The German side was not so bad back then2. He probably didn't have a choice

Yeah, a lot of people in these don't really have much of a choice. He might have still been a really cool guy, just in an unfortunate situation.

Speaking of soldiers... My grandfathers uncle (?) fought in The First Battle Of El Amain (Egypt, World War 2, opposition led by Rommel the "desert fox") and won the Victoria Cross, the most prestigious medal in the British Commonwealth.

"...intense machine-gun fire held up the company to which Private Gurney belonged and inflicted heavy casualties on it, including killing or wounding all the officers. Private Gurney, realizing the seriousness of the situation, charged the nearest machine-gun post, silencing the guns and bayoneting three of the crew. He bayoneted two more at a second post before a grenade knocked him down. Picking himself up, he charged a third post and disappeared from view..."

Is that a badass or what?

Lets just say im not a theist (someone who believes in god) and i enjoy
1. Arguing with theists
2. Beating theists in arguments
3. Giving them tough questions
4. Generally annoying them

So yeah for me a christian camp would be interesting and yet oddly fun

Discussions are fine. Arguements are not. We do not all have to believe the same things to be friends

It was hard sometimes. We trained everyday. Ten mile runs and other physical training. For the most part it wasn't too bad.
