I guess the rule would be to be considerate. Consider those involved, those who may soon be involved, and those who are there but not exactly involved... and go from there. Taking turns is preferable amidst involved parties. Just use your best logic for now and don't be afraid to ask if anyone else really wants to get a post in before you in the OOC. No problems that I could see other than the ones I've already mentioned. For his constitution, I'll just have to trust that you'll be fair in the way he takes damage and recovers after difficult battles. Also, and I've made this a point to my other nonhuman-esque players, he'll need some source of energy. Whether it be extra sleep or some sort of potion or food or whatever-- dunno. Maybe he bathes in orange juice to soak up vitamin D. You'll have to come up with something.
