Makes sense - Sweeper's such a strange pony, Winterjet pretty much summed up the typical reaction to her antics, and Scroll is constantly rolling his eyes. 

Arcon's method of being to the point is probably the best way to keep Sweeper in line. Especially if it's her kin - she cares about them a lot. Scroll is just her pal and minion. But she sees Arcon like an older brother, and takes everything he says rather seriously when he's direct.
