[i]"Oh shut up"[/i] Lian said and rolled her eyes at the man's comment. Although he was easy-going, and that was always a plus in Lian's book. When the two were inside, Lian took a last look around the store before stepping inside, closing the door after her. She looked at the two. [i]"Nice place ya got here."[/i] the guy said. [i]"Though I have a feeling you don't expect to stay long."[/i] Damn was he right. This place was starved. [i]"Yeah... Been staying here for a while now. Nothing left of use here."[/i] she responded as she walked away from the door, only barely doing eye contact with him as she walked by. She walked over to the girl, and ducked down on a knee so their heads were leveled. [i]"I'm Lian. You alright?"[/i] she said, trying to get eye contact with her. She was in shock or something, that much was obvious to Lian, but why? The city's been shit for a long time, how did she survive alone if she was constantly shocked? Then it hit her... Maybe she hadn't been alone until now. [i]"This is the first time you've been alone for a while, isn't it?"[/i] she said carefully. [i]"I'm sorry."[/i] She took a seat next to her, and looked at the guy again. [i]"So what's your name?"[/i] Lian had been trying to ignore the strange sounds outside the store. She couldn't hear what was going on, but it sounded like the infected had found a snack or two. She didn't like the thought...
