“I’m sure you’ve met them all by now” “I would hope so” Liaena remarked in a deceptively light tone, before her eyes returned to the assassin. “Hired to do what, exactly? Kill Sharon? Is that it?” The assassins story appeared to check out as far as her knowledge on the subject went....although it did indicate that Rithrynn was a scavenger as opposed to a warrior, contrary to her earlier assertions of glorious victory over the man. Which, given the general arrogance and glory seeking nature of Night Elves as a whole, wasn’t exactly a stretch of the imagination. “Damn it Rithrynn. This is important!” “Do you have any idea why he left you for dead?” The girl enquired, after a brief pause. Liaena gestured with one hand as she spoke, in an attempt to encapsulate the fallacy of the entire alleged scenario as she saw it. “I mean, you call yourself a professional. So presumably, you had no urgent plans to sell him out.... call me naive, but it’s idiotic to start infighting when you were already being hunted down by those Night Elves. And it’s even stupider to leave you alive after that. Sherpa isn’t stupid, and he knows how to kill people. How did you survive?” From her tone, it was evident that Liaena had reached the crux of her interrogation. Leaning forward slightly in her chair so she could see the small assassin more clearly, she gave the man a frankly suspicious scowl with her final question.
