"Hi Rai." She breathed out as her words betrayed her appearance of pretending to care about what the little demon had to say. She didn't care what they were - they were demons and they were after them. All she wanted to know was how to kill them and it had the appearance that fire did the trick; the one that Rai hit was now a steaming pile of boiling goo that was enough to turn even Cara's stomach. With grim determination and an expert hand, she slid her current magazine out and replaced it with one from the pouches located around her hip. These bullets were a bit more fiery and would certainly give the proper kick to the apparently-flammable, goo monster things. Lifting her head up to stare at the rain, she regarded it with a grim determination before she pushed the boy back a little, constantly keeping an eye on the advancing demons. Once one rolled two close for comfort, she eased her finger over the trigger and unloaded an efficient amount of bullets into the little thing before he fell into a gooey mess. She let a small sigh escape her lips - she wasn't as willing to kill demons as her other counterparts were but she made sure that the teachers never found out, or the students for that matter. If it got out that she was a demon sympathizer then she could have kissed her possible career and discovery of her mother, a long-drawn goodbye. She couldn't risk it so she shot a few more of the little demons without indignation before she turned and began pushing him along. "You move back to the school - I can move fast enough past these little guys. I need to make sure that there isn't anything bigger at the gate." She murmured with a small shake of her head. Cara wasn't exactly trying to get rid of the fifteen-year-old but he couldn't move like she could and she knew this was only the start - she just had a feeling in her bones. Expertly swinging her gun around, she appealed to someone who would listen as she turned to Rai. With a flick of her wrist, she had thrown her the small stick of gum she kept in a pouch before nodding. "Get him back safely and try not to get him killed. I'll see you on the other side kid." And at that, she disappeared into the foliage as she moved without the constraints of a partner.
