@Rumiko - Oh really? I haven't gotten into it that much, really. It's a very recent craving for me...and I don't really feel like searching through a lot of bad fanfics to find the good ones. xD

Yes, medieval settings are typically my favorite. They're closer to wild, you can do a lot more with it, and I personally like the weapons and clothing of the time a lot better. xP

@MoC - Yeah, I certainly don't want to force the human-turned-Pokémon aspect. If nothing else, we could simply have a plot that doesn't rely on humans at all and I think it could work just the same~ =} The setting I have in mind is like Treasure Town in the Exploration games...only more advanced and bigger. Ever since an inventor named Dr. Porygon moved in, they've seen a few technological improvements...especially in the Adventure Guild. The city is called Tyric Town, the capital of a continent called Tirania, and it's separated into three districts: Housing, Central District (where the Guild, police station, town square and town park are located) and Commercial.

The town is run the stern Mayor Gardevoir with her three advisors: Lady Serperior helps maintain the financial security of Tyric Town and is the owner of the Web Bank in the commercial district (which is managed by an Ariados). Lord Samurott is one of the most skilled fighters in the entire city; nobody is sure whether he or the Guildmaster are truly the strongest in Tyric, but the two respect each other so much that they have not battled lest they potentially publically embarrass the other. Emboar is the Police Chief of Bisharp's Police Station and is in charge of Tyric's security. I could go on about its facilities if you're interested, but that list can get quite long. xD

And yeah, that would be a good reason for Pokémon RPs to lose their luster. Perhaps if I start one, it could be with weaker characters and a limited team of some kind. Although something I've started doing is including a twist where the Pokémon can communicate just like a human does...and that can make things more interesting. xD

@Blaziken - Thanks~ I spent quite a while going through my list of games, bookmarked anime and such to figure out just what I would like to RP with to make it. xP

Heheh...judging by your name, I'm tempted to say that perhaps we should stick with Pokémon xD But at the same time, I haven't done a good Furry RP before, and I have a PMD taker already and a Digimon one as well...and your characters sound rather interesting, so we might stick with that, if you're cool with that~

@Tundra - Oh, awesome~ xD I would really be interested in Savers, as I've got a Tamers RP going elsewhere atm (the single good one I mentioned earlier~ xP) if that's still okay with you~ You won't have to RP as a female if you don't want to. I don't mind having two male characters. xD And actually, we might end up needing a third or fourth character to use as partners to create a full tamer squad. Yu Yu Hakusho is also interesting, but since I haven't actually watched the show in a year or so and I haven't actually done an RP on it before as well, perhaps it would be best to stick with familiar ground for now.
