Year 99 of the Cosmic Era. Through wars and devastation on all fronts, naturals and coordinators alike have achieved an uneasy peace. Rather than through an era of understanding, this peace is born from an era of fear. A new fragment of human evolution has arisen known by the Alliance and ZAFT as the Actualizer Threat. A human breed that through its actions has long manipulated the human race in an effort to bringing about a new war. In an effort to suppress the beginning of a new conflict, the independent military force has taken to the stars known as AERO to seek out the actualizers. 18 years have passed since the threat arose. At the turn of the new century, humanity faces a new conflict.

And so begins the RP. The way this will work is that everyone will get to choose from the four factions or possibly create your own if you find it worthwhile.

- Even though the Actualizers are practically higher powered than most, the god-mod rule does apply.
- Romance and Violence is welcome but please try to keep things PG-13 at most (For site rules)

Bio: Avris' story began with one Emile Schmidt. A highly decorated General of the Earth Sphere Federation. Emile's real name is actually Joseff Strauss, however it was changed as part of a plan to sabotage a Zaft war ship during the Second Bloody Valentine War. He was raised within a wealthy family in Dusseldorf, Germany by his father Jakob Strauss. Emile never really had much of a childhood. As he spent most of his time under going rigorous private training. By the time Emile was physically six-teen, he joined the Earth Sphere Federation. There he studied the mechanics and functions of both military and civilian machines. After years of service, he eventually made the rank of Captain and was given his own Mobile Suit. A GNX-609T GN-XIII, which he heavily customized. Piloting the "Hypereon", which was what he had named his 'Jinx Three', Emile as Josef Strauss at age twenty-three, was once considered to be one of the ESF's most valuable aces.

However, his shining career entered a downwards spiral the day he met a woman named Aria Grimm. Having fallen in love with the former Zaft mechanic, who had been arrested as a prisoner of war, Emile eventually defected in order to save her from her fate as a subject of 'forceful interrogations'. After shooting down several of his comrades during their escape within the Hypereon, the couple sought refuge on Maius Four. Having chosen to blind themselves to the reality of war.

Yet there was no escape. Following the eruption of the Third Bloody Valentine War, Emile, under the Zaft banner, finally left his solitary life behind. Joining the fight against Liberian Works as a means of protecting Aria, whom was now his wife, and their unborn child. A fight he would never return from. Shortly after, Avris Grimm was born.

With his father having died after joining the Zaft fleet, responsibility for the family business fell to Avris on the day of his thirteenth birthday. Thus, he spent his youth on Maius Four. Helping his mother manage their garage as the assistant, and eventually chief mechanic. However, in the wake of his seventeenth birthday, Avris sought to join the Zaft mobile suit fleet. Having become obsessed with the notion that they another war was inevitable ever since the Allaiance's assault on Aero months before. Worried she would lose him like she had lost his father, his mother objected. Only agreeing when once he stated that he neededvto be able to protect the things he loved.

However, it wasn't until three years later, that Avris' journey began. After graduating from the academy second of his class, he had become an Elite pilot of Zaft. In honor of this, he was permitted to commission a custom mobile suit which he had been openly designing since his arrival at the academy. Thus, Avris obtained his first mobile suit, "the Stealth Astray", at the conclusion of his graduation ceremony. At which point he was also assigned to the Zaft battleship 'Caelestis'.

It was shortly after that Avris had his first encounter with Rory McAlistar, who had been leading a three man rogue team of M.S. terrorists known as "Black Cross". Though Avris was sevrely injured during their duel, his life was spared when he was saved by a fellow Zaft pilot. Who single handedly chased of the trio. A turn of events that lead him to his first lover and mentor, Val Lenalee.

For some months after that, Avris was reluctant to pilot an MS. Doubting that he was ready to protect anyone, despite his daily extra training sessions with Val. The Caelestis' most renowned ace. Luckily, these doubts were soon silenced, as Rory once again forced Avris' hand by ambushing the Caelestis after attacking another Zaft vessel as bait. Though they fought as equals this time around, it was the gang's numbers that tilted the scale. Avris was left with an ultimatum, to save the crippled sister ship, whose Mobiles Suits had already been destroyed and crew numbered nearly four-hundred. Leaving the Caelestis, and an injured Val to be shot down and killed, or to abandon it and keep Rory at bay.

While he eventually chose to engage and strike down McAlistar, his hesitation caused Val to be killed. As she had sacrificed herself in a maneuver that protected the flustered Avris from being shot down by the rouge. Afterwards, he was revered as a hero. Having single handedly eliminated all of the Black Cross members in a blind rage, simultaneously suceeding in protecting the Caelestis in the process. Yet, despite being recognized as an Ace and granted command of a mobile suit squad, Avris felt no joy. As he had failed to do the very thing he sought power for. It was at this time that a frustrated and grief stricken Avris vowed to undertake a new purpose. Thus, the protector became an avenger, and 'The Grim Reaper of Zaft' was born.

Still, it wasn't until three years later though, that Avris truly earned his comrades' respect. When the Caelestis experienced a Coup d'etat. Despite having been ordered to take no action by his captain, it was Avris who lead a resistance force against the mutineers and repelled a complete take over. Unfortunately, most of the ship's crew was lost when the leader of the mutineers attempted to crash the ship into Orb. Luckily, Avris was able to regain control of his mobile suit. As well as effectively use it to forcefully divert the ship to instead crash into the ocean.

While it was theorized that the traitors may have been Actualizer agents, the truth was never unveiled. Primarily because none of them survived the crash and ensuing explosion. Due to the fact that his MS, 'the Stealth Astray', had been severly damaged after he used it to steer the ship during orbital re-entry, Avris was presented with a new MS as an reward. The ZGMF-X63A Gundam. Which had been renamed "Verity" in honor of his self proclaimed devotion to finding out the truth behind what the Actualizers were after.

Recently, he has been reassigned, and continues to serve as an Zaft Officer.
Mobile Suit


Name: ZGMF-X63A Verity

Appearance:

Armaments: The Verity Gundam was designed as a multi-purpose MS that can handle a variety of combat situations without exchanging equipment during the battle. For close combat, the suit features not only two Beam boomerangs that double as beam sabers, but also an large Anti-Ship Sword or "A.S.S.", which is the preferred weapon-of-choice of its current pilot. In addition, it also features Eye Beam Cannons which are also used in extremely close combat. The suit has full flight capabilities in an atmosphere and the back-Mounted wing can be deployed in "High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode" to enhance its mobility within atmosphere or space. At which point the wing vertically splits into an identical pair of wings. Said wing is also used to form the Verity's A.S.S.

Lastly, for defense the Verity can be equipped with a large physical shield which boasts an integrated beam shield generator. When activated, it is capable of creating a temporary beam shield over the shield's surface capable of reflecting most forms of attack. However, due to the amount of power required to sustain the active beam shield, none of the Verity's offensive armaments can be activated while it is in use.

Optional Armaments: For long-ranged battle, the Verity features an high output beam rifle, with two firing modes. A two round burst fire "Accuracy mode" and a full automatic rapid fire "Suppressor mode". While Accuracy mode temporarily trades rate of fire for increased power, range and accuracy, suppressor mode offers a seamlessly continuous rate of fire. Though this is at the expense of power, range and accuracy, making the rifle effective only within close to mid range as opposed to mid to long.

Additional Info: Developed as a high-performance and versatile machine, the Verity's design allows for multiple external and internal weaponry. During the design process, it was deemed that a standard MS frame would hinder the overall performance of the Verity in terms of maneuverability and the ability to operate its weapons quickly to be used to maximum effect. The designers solved the problem by incorporating an armor dividing system. This system works in conjunction with a sliding mechanism for the dividing armor panels. The internal frame is composed of smaller and flexible components which utilize armor panels that can separate into smaller portions to allow the leg units to move through its full range of motion. The joints are constructed of the same materials found in Phase Shift armor. When activated, it is possible to adjust the stiffness of the joints during motion. The reaction also produces a metallic glow when the joints are active.

The result is an overall increase in the joint range of motion and flexibility of the arm and leg units. However, this occurs at the cost of vulnerable areas on the exposed sections of the armor. This problem was partially alleviated by mapping out the achievable ranges of motion of the frame using Avris' combat performance to determine the most efficient way to separate the armor parts. This gave the Verity sufficient defense without sacrificing maneuverability and speed. Although the unit met its operational requirements and was accepted, unfortunately, various problems remain to be solved, including maintenance problems and complex component construction methods for production.

The most unique aspect of Verity is its Hyper-Deuterion Nuclear Reactor, and Eon Drive. The Hyper-Deuterion Nuclear Reactor is Verity's primary power source, providing the necessary power to support all of it's energy consuming abilities. Because the nuclear reactor made the Deuterion Beam system unnecessary, Verity can't be easily recharged, despite rarely having to be. The Eon drive was produced by upgrading ZAFT's version of the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system, it greatly increases the suit's speed at cost of stability and is frequently used in close combat against multiple opponents.

It should be noted that the Verity is also equipped with a with a Neutron Jammer Canceller to allow it's nuclear reactor to work in areas affected by Neutron Jammers. It functions on the Gunnery United Nuclear-Dueterion Advanced Maneuver operating system. Verity stands at a head height of 18.08 meters, 59.318 ft, 711.811 in, weighs a max 79.44 metric tons and has a pilot only standard cockpit in torso. Verity's head crest displays the text "X-63A TERZA", which means "Third" in Italian and is a reference to Verity's series number. The "A" in its code number represents that it is a Third Stage, nuclear class mobile suit.

I am impressed. That is one hell of a plot. Now I'm not sure whether or not to start my own fleet or join one.

Don't you also think that the roleplay technically belomgs in the nations roleplay? Haha that's okay though. Looks like instead of the regular Zeta, I might be using a... Custom version to update its technology.

Bahahaha. Well, I would be scrapping an hour's work if I stop this development (which still needs revisioning from other people). As long as you or Myviewing give me a go* with an asterisk like that, I will create a CS with the normal Zeta, but producing the custom Zeta for you to have a look at and if passable, replace the normal Zeta. How's that?

Bio:
George Allster, the Vice Foreign Minister of the Atlantic Federation who was thought to be fighting against the Coordinator outbreak within the world actually had a second coordinator child. Against his will, the mother-- Relena Allster had consented the genetic engineering of her second child. George Allster was going to have his word with his wife after his mission was finished but unfortunately, his death came before he ever reached Relena. As a result, Terra was born in late 71 C.E. with later Relena remarrying with another man known as Remus Asterius in 72 C.E. Remus was a genius cloning specialist recruited among Al Da Flaga's secret organisation that continually clones copies of himself.

Remus embraced Terra with open arms and Terra herself accepted him as his biological father and spent most of her life involving herself with him whenever possible. However, the outbreak of the Third Bloody Valentine War resulted in many casualties including the remarried Relena Asterius and his step-daughter Terra Asterius. Incredibly broken and griefing for both of their deaths, he took his privileges as the genius scientist of Al Da Flaga's secret organisation and performed something else underneath their noses. He attempted to clone both Relena and Terra, with Relena having the accelerated aging procedure and Terra was left to normally develop as a coordinator in 77 C.E. His attempt to clone Relena failed, breaking him down into a depression and later taking his own life due to the stress, leaving Terra to develop in the tube for several years until she was discovered in 80 C.E. by AERO representatives in critical condition.

The cloned Terra Asterius that became the original was raised in a remote safe colony where she was taught how to walk properly and how to string together words that expresses how she feels. Her Coordinator nature allowed her to learn things quickly despite having to learn these basic life skills at a very late age. She quickly thrived and became a bright young girl as a result of the good care of the colonists and then passed on to Athrun Zala and Cagalli Yula Zala in 81 C.E. who took Terra with them and took full responsibility over her like their real child. Life begins as normal as it could be for Terra. She went to school at the normal age for kindergartens to enter and worked her way up the grades with a breeze-- Making both of her adoptive parents happy of her progress. It wasn't until she was 13 that things began to change.

Something had stirred up on Earth and Athrun had to leave both Cagalli and Terra behind to support a Nation in the military. The concerned child questioned her mother about what was happening with her father before Cagalli's reassuring attempts placed doubt and worry into Terra. Three years of being dejected from her father had declined her progress in secondary school and developed a dark side into her personality. She became restless and physical with everything.

The safe return of Athrun Zala was openly welcomed by both Cagalli and Terra, at which quickly healed Terra's pain and suffering.

As Terra's progress improve after the return of her father, she came back to the usual happy and cheery Terra-- Although Cagalli couldn't help but feel as though her heart has been scarred from Terra's separation while at the same time, not having broken the news of her being an adopted child.

On her 17th Birthday, the two made a decision to reveal the truth about who Terra was and how she came to be. Athrun and Cagalli didn't expect such a very reluctant yet accepting manner of Terra's response. It did however, made a change inside of her. Later in the year, she joined AERO to follow her father's footsteps, although slightly different as Athrun had served in Orb. Upon the day of her departure, Cagalli was worried sick about Terra's decision to join AERO that she wasn't able to make it to her commissioning day. Athrun was with her, introducing Terra to Commander Kira Yamato who was his childhood and good friend of his. He reassured her that under his command, everything would be alright and she had a bright future in front of her if she aspire herself to be more like Kira than Athrun, to which she defended that Athrun was the superior.

Fast forward 2 years later, aboard the Terminus, she was sent on an unarmed GM mobile suit to seek out an abandoned wreckage with her squad. She found the torso and head of a mobile suit that seemed… Off in a way. Her Coordinator instincts speaks loudly inside of her head to retrieve it. Following her instincts, she took the mobile suit's wreck and returned to the Flagship before presenting the Mechanic and Kira about her find, which identified the Mobile Suit wreck to be the remains of the Zeta Gundam. The question of possibilities to have it restored to its original state was a difficult question to tackle as the mechanic mentions that the technology dates back to the U.C. and to restore it to its full glory would require time and effort. Terra begged Kira to its recovery, telling him a sense of connection and attachment to the Mobile Suit until he gave her a reluctant approval and the repairs began to take place. Terra was sighted visiting the broken Zeta and seemingly be 'in-touch' with the Mobile Suit.

Turn of the Century. It was reported that the recovered Zeta Gundam was successfully revived with all of its previous features built into it with small modifications. The news reached Terra quite quickly and Kira was also aware of the successful revival. After years of waiting the Zeta was ready for commissioning and Terra couldn't be more excited. Kira, after seeing her being attached so much to the Mobile Suit designated her as the Pilot of the Zeta.

Terra, adopted child of Athrun Zala and is now 22 years of age serving in AERO, would be having a large amount of things put onto her plate in the turn of the century.

MSZ-006 ZETA Gundam

Armaments
The ZETA Gundam was a descendant of the infamous White Devil. It is a general multi-purpose Mobile Suit armed with the signature Head-Mounted Machine Gun used in Close Combat or Anti-Missile scenarios. With the current technology rendering bullets useless, it is rarely used beyond the Anti-Missile objective. The ZETA also sports a 2-tube grenade launcher in each forearms as a weapon against defenses that can repel Beam-based projectiles. The grenade launcher fires two grenades in quick succession per trigger pull, resulting a total of 8 grenades stored inside the forearm. The ZETA also is equipped with a grappling wire used to immobilize enemy mobile suits. It can be equipped with an explosive warhead to deal damage as well. It is also equipped with a Beam Saber/Beam Gun at which can be used as a melee weapon or a ranged weapon when in its waverider mode. The main weapon of choice before the two beam sabers is the BOWA Beam Rifle-- A powerful 5.7MW high-energy beam rifle that can emit an I-Field beam saber on its barrel, making it a melee weapon when the situation calls for it. ZETA also comes equipped with an arm-mounted shield that is coated with anti-beam coating. Its shield also doubles as a nose for the waverider form of the ZETA.

Optional Armaments
When firepower is preferred over ZETA's multi-purpose capabilities, it can also be equipped with a Hyper Mega Launcher, a 'big brother' to the BOWA Beam Rifle that has an energy output of 8.3 MW that also doubles as a large beam saber.

Additional Info
The ZETA comes specially equipped with a modified version of the Bio Sensor, allowing it to be used with a Coordinator Pilot. It allows mental commands to be intergrated with the exosuit of the ZETA, becoming more responsive and agile as a result. It still has its flaw from the original version. When a Coordinator enters a state of emotional pressure or SEED, the Bio-Sensor amplifies Zeta's strength, speed and power temporarily.

The ZETA is powered by a Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactor with a power output of 2020 kW and a sensor range of 14000 meters.

The ZETA is cockpit is equipped with a panoramic monitor, allowing full frontal vision of the pilot.

Might be a good point. I've never really used the Nations roleplay section though and I just thought the regular sections would be enough. Mostly just want to be able to have reasons to stage the battles is all.

@VK: Nice, personally think you risk making it OP if you upgrade it at the start. Feel all our truly advanced upgrades should be earned IC, for development purposes.

Looking forward to seeing what you have in mind though. Def have a go* so far.

I like it VK, still think it'd be better as an secondary MS latter on, but i like the way you balanced it either way.

(Im assuming that it no longer has the grenades and grappling hook, seeing as they weren't relisted?)

Edit: Kinda curious to know how a pilot as young as Terra came to possess such an powerfull machine in the first place though. Especially if she has yet to do anything spectacular to cause her supirors to pay her special mind. The Zeta really seems like something Aero would have piloted by a proven inidividual, but thats just my two cents.

Yes, the Grenade Launchers and Grappling Hook was scrapped for balancing. The ZFBN is loaded with only beam weapons.

As for how Terra obtained her MS was because I got a little too lazy with the Bio. I might edit it again to elaborate but right now, I'm lazy as hell and I wanna sleep. I'll think up ideas and note them down tomorrow and hopefully I can make something that makes sense.

Just finished reading, hope I managed to get enough to have a worthwhile character:

Bio: In the events of the Bloody Valentine Wars, Miriallia Haw was originally an officer onboard the Archangel. When the clone of Mu la Flaga went through its accelerated aging she made a very quiet and inconspicuous disappearance from the average eye. The most evidence of her disappearance was in the sudden murder of Dearka Elsman.

Years later in 81 of the Cosmic Era, she met with her former friends and allies when she appeared alongside the Actualizers much to their fear and confusion. With the combined efforts of Shinn and Kira however she was overpowered but managed to substitute Fraser’s sacrifice to make her escape. She revealed Gilbert Durandal’s failure as one instance of a sloppy effort on their part but that the attacks would be more concentrated from this day forward.

She made another appearance in Year 87 where she led her fellow Actualizers to spiraling an entire space colony out of orbit and towards the location of Deimos. This more recent attack was unique in that it resulted in the appearance of the infantry units of the Actualizers known as “Generics”. The threat was escalated with their appearance and a brief mention of her leader was the most that returned from a report on that attack.

In future missions she appeared with the other Actualizers in the chaos they ensued. It is still believed that she might have some intelligence gathering skills much like the ones she used in her service to the Archangel but her piloting skills have proven to be second to few. Even worse her ability to generate Generics through her mobile suit has made her near untouchable.

Name: Advance Unit 2
Appearance: Appears like the AWACS DINN but with the “Keberos” long range beam cannons and “Deluge” rail cannons from the Blast Impulse Gundam. It is covered in the mysterious flesh that the Actualizers mobile suits have been recognized for.
Armaments: 2x “Kerberos” long range beam cannons, 2x “Deluge rail cannons, MMI-M7S 76mm heavy assault machine gun,
Optional Armaments: none
Additional Info: It is armed with the software program that permits the pilot to see their actions before they are done. It has been undetermined what the true power of the program is but the Advance Unit has been able to withstand entire armies and apply itself to high offensive capabilities.

The flesh armor has shown to be more than a mere distinguishing feature. It has proven to be enough to absorb many high level energy weapons but only to a certain degree that the highest powered ones for long exposure will be able to damage them.

Everything is looking good to me so far. Might just be a little time before we start now.

Just to set up everything, we'll begin with the Terminus and the AERO fleet on their way towards the colony Port Two where they'll be engaging in a decommissioning ceremony for the Archangel. At least that's what the public display will be. The Actualizers can make their debut once the crew has taken port here.

So just to make sure, is it okay with you VKAllen if I align myself along with you in AERO? I've got a particular character prepared that I've been wanting to use. Either way I think I'll be able to use the Earth Alliance at any areas necessary. Right now they don't have much of a role but it could change depending on where the conflict goes.

Yeah true. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't any conflicts before we started is all. Thanks for letting me know. So for my main character then:

Name: Sousuke Yamato
Gender: Male
Appearance: Fair skin, brown hair, pale cerulean eyes, average build, usually wears civilian clothing or in future posts the AERO uniform.

Born: Coordinator
Alliance: AERO
Bio: Born in a time when peace was supposed to be the true goal but with the Actualizers continuously wearing away at the minds of humans on both sides, Sousuke has grown up only hoping he would never have a time in the military. He has witnessed the Clarent Incident that both his father and Athrun Zala united against in 90 CE and the Crind Deception in 92 CE. Both times left him initially afraid of his father's well being but only to see him not only prepared but willing to face the new threat was enough to make Sousuke want to call out his father for his dangerous acts.

Due to the passing of the Two Year’s Service laws within ZAFT and the Earth Alliance, Sousuke now recognizes he will be forced to enlist at age 18 whether he wants to or not. Both this and his father taking him on trips across the solar system to various military installations have gotten on his nerves ever since he was little and given him the yearning to find a way of breaking free. Every attempt to have him prepared for a time in the military has resulted in him detesting any mention of his military career. He currently believes the Actualizers are gone and no longer pose a threat due to the current peace over the last seven years.

He has mostly been on good terms with his mother Lacus however and even picked up on some of her well recognized talents for singing. It has also given him a healthy social standing among others who have hoped for a career in the music field. Unfortunately Lacus has also recognized Sousuke will have to prepare for his years of service in the military and hasn’t done anything to prevent this. He tends to avoid this subject whenever he is around her because of this.

Now being tagged along to the Space Colony of Dock Two, he is about to witness what is meant to be seen by the public as an official decommissioning of the Archangel from long ago. He has however promised to meet with his girlfriend Li Mei Hsu at any chance to avoid following under any of his father’s mentoring. Unfortunately as things turn out, his world is about to be turned upside down…

Mobile Suit: Centennial Gundam
Appearance: Modelled after the Destiny Gundam but with multiple blades and armaments attached to its limbs (Think Arche Gundam)
Armaments: 6x high-energy buster sword, pile driver shield, high energy long-range beam cannon
Optional Armaments: high-energy beam rifle
Additional Info: Derived from what amount of Actualizer technology in the remains of the Colada incident, the Centennial has been created with the hopes of providing a blueprint for giving humans a chance in facing the Actualizer Threat. Due to the nature of its original pilot it has been specified to work as a primarily close-range combat mobile suit but has been given the proper adjustments to work effectively in long range. It has yet to receive its first pilot but its capabilities will be seen soon.

In close range it has six high-energy buster swords that extend and retract by the command of the pilot from the four primary limbs of the mobile suit with another two for wielding by hand. Through the development of the recent Nuclear Energy Reactor Fusion technology that has been rendered as safe as possible for human handling, the blades are able to achieve the power levels necessary to cut through just about anything. The shield on its left arm was built around the blade in the same hand but was capable of working as sufficiently as any standard shield would against long range fire but not be able to handle much more powerful blasts.

The Centennial’s armor was among the most primary concern in developing it without losing the offensive advantage. Because the Actualizers are rarely ever hit they tend to focus less on the need for solid armor leaving them as relatively weak targets if hit. Through additional development however the pilot frame has been the most fortified and permits a safe ejection area for the pilot. As a result of its adjustments the Centennial bears the excellent offensive power of the model it’s based on but ultimately the same defensive weaknesses that resulted in its defeat.

Through a great deal of work the Nuclear technology was able to work with its long range aspects in complement to the Centennial’s new form. The long range beam cannon was built to work directly with the Gundam’s power core to varying degrees of power levels matching at the minimum that of the original Destiny’s. The full extent of its power has yet to be tested however and is considered to be a serious threat.

Truly among the greatest achievements of this Gundam’s development is the implementation of the Growth System Program. First discovered during the Third Bloody Valentine War, the system through many years of trial and error has been decoded and is prepared to be used on the front lines. The program is capable of artificially activating the SEED mode in a Coordinator pilot whenever it is given the command. When the SEED mode is activated, the Growth System adds projected actions for what enemy units are most likely to attempt seconds before it is done. This system was proven to work with ZAFT test pilots but its abilities and limits have not yet been accounted for.

And that should be it for all of us. I'll have the first IC post either sometime later tonight or early tomorrow depending on how my schedule turns out. Should be able to notice it.

Bio: First conceived by the actualizers as a means of properly organizing and controlling thier potentially massive Generic Fleet, A.R.G.U.S. was originally a program called the D.G.O. Digital Generic Operaror. While it was at first highly effective, the program constantly faced an onslaught of delemas as Actualizer Generic technology became more refined and expansive. The most prominent of which included; an inability to process unimaginable amounts of data simultaneously, an inability to effectively control each unit independently simultaneously, and an inability to organize mutitudes of Generic swarms while operating them simultaneously.

Due to this, the Actualizers were forced to constantly adapt and improve the software. This eventually resulted in the creation of what is believed to be the first Independant Artificial Intelligence in the galaxy. A.R.G.U.S. Whether it was due to an fluck mutation of the program's data, or the result of some haphazardly conducted programing, it was unique in the sense that it could not be replicated. Try as much as it was attempted to no avail. Although A.R.G.U.S. was the answer to their problems with the Generic fleet, the actualizers would soon render its existence obsolete.

Thus, with the introduction of certadestroy nological leaps, they sooned learned how to control Generics by dividing responsiblity among thier individual selves. Hence eventually sought to destroy the A.I., afraid it could potentially be used against them should it ever fall into enemy hands. The task was to be completed via suicide. With the plan being to get it to inhabit an enemy vessel, then trick it into self destructing both the vessel and itself. If all went well they would be rid of it and encite thier enemies into infighting amongst themselves. A win win.

However, problems a rose when A.R.G.U.S. was inserted into the system of the Zaft war vessel the Caelestis via the laser of an augmented beam rifle, wielded by Actualizer sleeper agent Rory McAlistar during an staged assault on the ship. Once aboard, A.R.G.U.S. falsified a message from Zaft command stating that the Caelestis' captain and most of the crew had been traitors and were in reality Orb spies. It was then tactically sent to select individuals of the crew picked for maximum overall success rate of the mission. The issue, was that in its attempt to complete its mission and achieve self-preservation, A.R.G.U.S. had over looked an rogue element. A coordinater named Avris Grimm.

When the aforementioned pilot had successfully foil the A.I.'s plan, it attempted to communicate with its actualizer superiors, only to instead intercept an status report detailing the plot to destroy it. Enraged, saddened and confused by the emergence of the former emotions within itself, A.R.G.U.S. then sought to flee the vessel after intiating a self destruct sequence as to cover its tracks. Salvation was found in an mobile suit partially incomplete mobile suit within the ship's hanger. The NT-01 Nova Gunner. Uploading it self into the machines OS, A.R.G.U.S. then fled the vessel in the midst of the chaos.

Although the rouge A.I. has yet to resurface, it lurks in the shadows of the galaxy with a single purpose born of hate.

Mobile Suit


Name: UMS Misanthrope

Appearance:

Armaments: A modified and upgraded model of the Stealth Astray, the Misanthrope was originally commissioned as the NT-01 Nova Gunner after the aforementioned Astray was mostly destroyed. The Assault-Recon class mobile suit was renamed the Misanthrope by the rogue Actualizer A.I. after it self uploaded it self into the suit's OS. Unlike the Stealth Astray, it is no longer armed with a pair of beam sabers, but instead a pair of boomerang daggers. Which serve as the MS's primary close combat and self defense weaponry. The Nova also features a newly integrated set of back mounted wings, the likes of which now grants the MS access to an HiMAT Mode. Allowing it to enhance its mobility within atmosphere or space. These wings can also be used as stationary blades when deployed during HiMat Mode.

Optional Armaments: Similar to its predecessor, The Nova can also be equipped with a pair Variable output pistols. However, it also features a back mounted Ion Beam Repeater cannon. When deployed, this cannon sits upon the right shoulder of the Nova. Due to the twelve barrels it has encircling it's larger main barrel. This "Eraser" cannon utilizes its smaller barrels to offer an impressive rate of fire without detriment to power or range, and makes use of its larger central barrel to produce a charged condensed beam blast. Which allows for both increased power and range. While a single shot from any of the small barrels can potentially destroy a mobile suit, its charged blast is powerful enough to sink a warship with an successful hit.

Additional Info: Also, like the Stealth Astray, the Nova utilizes three Ultracompact Energy Batteries as opposed to one. With each of the additonal "Micro Batteries" producing a fourth of the power the its original UCEB does. Due to them being slaved to the MS's motion systems, the mobile suit is able to move its joints at a rate which exceeds its manufactured parameters. However, it also possess the same drawbacks as its predecessor, where joints can be forcefully detached from the suit's core with extended combative use. Because the Mirage Colloid Stealth System is still equipped, the Nova is also capable of using Stealth Mode.

The Nova possesses an overall height of 17.72 meters 58.136 ft
697.638 in, weighs 74.8 metric tons and features a pilot only standard cockpit in chest. Because the suit was 'stolen' before its aesthetic touches could be compelted, the parts of the Misanthrope that were salvaged from the Stealh Astray are still visible in thier worn and rusting condition. This is made even more visibly evident by the newer parts' contrasting paint job. An azure blue with orange accents. The UMS in its name means Unidentified Mobile Suit, and was the MS's moniker before its 'identity' became public.

Hohoho! I have been waiting quite some time to find a gundam roleplay.

So long in fact that I need to actually watch a bit of gundam to refresh my memory.

But I'm most definitely going to join in on this.

Who else is a fan of the Red Comet? I know I am. And I know I'm going to use his mobile suit. At least, something quite a bit similar to his mobile suit.

So first post has been made! Let's see what great stories await us in this roleplay then.

Nice to see you're interested LeeRoy. A Char spot would be a nice area to fill for the roleplay, just bear in mind this is the Cosmic Era and it'd be nice to maintain the consistency and characters of the setting if possible.

Speaking of which, something I'd like to know VKAllen, is Terra's ancestry actually from Judau and Roux from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ? I was hoping to maintain the history of the Cosmic Era timeline and having UC characters creates kind of a paradox. If it's not too much trouble could you revert back to the previous surname please?
