And the true gods arrogance won't? To be perfectly frank most of the gods- Celestia and Luna included- are woefully behind times, I think the biggest factor to their downfall is underestimating the intelligence and ingenuity of their adversary, and Scalpel does have plans within plans and a modern mind of science, frankly I think if he succeeds in more of his work the gods will be genuinely freaked out.
