Hope this helps.
This takes place during the night when the demons attack the college.
At around midnight of that day, the vampire Norschtalen Poisoned the Headmaster of the Twilight College, Khan, Afterwards the demons that Tyrael brought to guard the college during the event betrayed him and began to attack the college and it's guests. Many students, teachers, and staff died during the ensuring battle, but with the teacher's powers and the timely intervention of the Archmage, the battle was quickly brought to an end. Many students are still shocked from the attack, while the teachers and staff scramble to deal with the after effects; talking to the guests and reassuring them that the attack is over, as well as repairing damages and healing the injures. During the battle Headmaster Khan is still suffering the effects of the poison, and has been bedridden due to it.
This takes place the next morning after the attack from last night.
The college is bustling with the sound of workers repairing the damaged infrastructure, as well as other college helpers tending to the wounded and moving the dead. The teachers have their hands full trying to quell the worries and emotions of the college's guests, or preparing the college for another attack. The students still don't have classes today and are told to spend the day trying to rest, though many have chosen to at least check up on their friends and see if they could offer their help.
The following only pertains to some of the characters who have recently been active during the Mourning After.
Annabeth started off her morning heading to the gymnasium, a fairly routine thing for her. She trains for a short while as she doubts herself due to her weakness during the battle last night, which resulted in Cynn getting gravely wounded by an unknown assassin. Soon she meets Grey, and the two train with each other for a short time before Annabeth leaves to get her sword repaired. Along the way she meets Colette and takes her to the Forge with her. Currently she plans to head back to the Gymnasium to train Colette how to use her dagger.
Colette wakes up in her room after extensively resting to heal from the injuries of last night. She has some existential thoughts and wonders the college for a while before Annabeth finds her. The two chat for a bit and Annabeth offers to take Colette to the forge, and she agrees. When they arrive Tyrael is working int he forge creating weapons and armor for some reason that I won't explain right now. As his student, Tyrael gives Colette a dagger to use to banish low-level demons and harm stronger ones as he drops hints that there will be more battles to come. He also tells her a bit about her magic and to be careful with it. When he's done speaking to her Colette returns to Annabeth who suggests that Colette trains with her new weapon, and she agrees.
Coco is in the garden.
Cynn has recently woken up in a makeshift infirmary inside the dinning hall. She meets a comely lass name Noel and is currently still needing medical attention.
Darius recently wakes up from the Infirmary as Ssarak and CO arrives. He wants to breate Meirin for stealing his kill the night before, but is too wounded to muster the energy. He wonders off and eventually meets up with a guardsman, who he then follows to assist a teacher in some matter.
Grey Onyx awakens from his restless sleep, somewhat sore but still active. He wants to try to get back to work but due to the injuries sustained from his fight with Heus, his captain tells Grey to take today off. Despite the orders Grey thinks that he's still able enough to train and heads to the Gymnasium. There he meets Annabeth, who is initial skeptical for why a guard isn't working, but after explaining his side of the story the two train together for a short while before Annabeth leaves. Grey leaves shortly after and decides to stop by the Infirmary to see if they need any assistance. There he meets up with Ssarak and Co, specially Meirin, who he got to know the day before. He is also introduced to Leith and Ssarak.
Leith doesn't' spend the night asleep and works tirelessly to help secure the college. He returns to his room the next morning only to change out of his ragged clothing, around the same time Ssarak and Meirin have awoken (Their rooms are next to each other, but Meirin made a whole in the wall between them). He greets the two while also realizing much too late that the daemon gauntlet he uses is now fused to his hand. Undaunted he simply changes into a new set of clothing as best he can and walks with Ssarak and Meirin to the Infirmary, where he hangs around long enough to meet Grey.
Meirin wakes up and gets dressed to help out the college. She also wants to stop by the forge to repair her weapons. Ssarak meets up with her and the two discuss their plans before Leith shows up, and once ready the three head to the Infirmary. When they arrive Meirin and Ssarak meets up with a survivor from the previous night they saved, and the three share an intimate moment together before Ssarak leaves to check up on his friends. Meirin stays outside and gets found by Grey. They chat some more and introduce each other to Grey the new comer. She than suggest that they all head towards the forge so she could get her weapons repaired and see if they could use any of their help.
Ssarak awakens from a nightmare, but otherwise is well in a physical sense. He makes himself decent and goes to find Meirin, who herself has just woken up. The two discuss their desire to try to offer their assistance with the college as Leith enters. They decide to take him along. Their first order of business is to head to the Infirmary, one part to offer their help but also because Ssarak wants to see if any of his friends were in the Infirmary or dead. He meets a survivor from the night before, one that he personally saved from the clutches of a demon. He leaves him to Meirin's care as he checks up in the Infirmary. Once finished he reunites with Leith and Meirin, and than introduces himself to Grey Onyx. As Meirin suggest they head to the Forge, Ssarak ponders who could have poisoned the Headmaster.
