"There are barely any vehicles on this road, but you're looking for a Black Mercedes." Akira looked around the area with a determined look as he sped down a rather empty freeway. Bright green plains and trees surrounded the road in every direction along with a sunset that turned the sky orange. He was a nervous wreck earlier and the video Sloan sent only amplified his anxiety tenfold. She was better off in the hands of that maid. As bad as the situation was, the long drive somewhat calmed Akira down. The weather was mildly warm and his open-faced helmet allowed Akira to feel the cool wind as it rushed into his face. In another context the drive could have been relaxing. "Oh, she's alive by the way. Probably kinda mad though," Sloan remarked sarcastically as she sat in her room, legs propped onto her chair and a small bowl of cherries in her arms. "Yeah, probably.." Akira tightly gripped onto his cellphone as he increased his speed. "Hey, Sloan, who's in the car with her? Is it that guy from the video?" "Yeah, his names Mr. Daniels I believe. I don't know if he's a magic user but there's a high probability he's armed, and he's totally got the hots for your girl," Akira frowned, "He likes Luci?" "He's obsessed, and even that's an understatement, something about the girl's pheromones or something," "Phero..mones? What's a phero-" "You're closing in on the vehicle," Looking up Akira could see a vehicle in the distance, "You said Black Mercedes right?" "Roger" As he was closing in on the car Akira took a deep breath, he wasn't really sure what he was going to do but first he wanted to actually see Luci for himself. He didn't doubt Sloan when she said she was alive but he wanted to believe his eyes as well, it had been almost six hours since he last saw the blood bathed maid. "Talk to you soon," Akira hung up the phone and placed it in his pocket before gripping the handle bars of the motorcycle. He was right behind the car at this point. Moving into the lane on the right of the vehicle he accelerated for a moment until he was right beside the passenger window. He paced the speed of the motorcycle with that of the vehicle and turned his head to the left, looking into the passenger window and directly at Luci. For a moment he thought this was the wrong vehicle, Akira didn't recognize her at all, but then it clicked that this was the first time he saw face clearly, when they met she was practically covered in blood. Akira caught her eye and gave a big smile to hide how nervous he was, she looked completely fine though, as far as he could tell. His anxiety drained away at her reaction to seeing him. He took a moment to inspect the man that kept her hostage, he was focused on driving and didn't seem to notice him driving beside the car. Looking back at Luci he gave a reassuring smile and placed his finger on his lips, gesturing her to keep silent. Akira lifted his hand outwards towards Luci and using his telekinesis rolled her window down. The vehicles keys shot out of the ignition and into his hands Akira accelerated in front of the car and slowed down along with it as it came to an inevitable stop. He unstrapped his helmet and dismounted from his motorcycle. Casually leaning on his bike, Akira held his helmet under his left arm and the car keys dangling in his right, awaiting the drivers reaction.
