-Bio: Carter wasn't ever the most popular kid in class. In fact he was the one getting bullied and beaten in the back. Even when he told everyone his uncle was taking him to work with him, Carter still got beaten. He entered the Relaxation Vault by accident, but it was on the same day that GLaDOS took over. His Uncle was killed, but Carter doesn't know that yet.

-Bio: Danny's Father worked at aperture for the longest time, but Danny never cared. He hated his father for many reasons. One day he decided to enter aperture and ruin whatever his father was working on but he ended up in a relaxation vault. Sealed in and forced to sleep. That, however, was in 1972...

Asdfghjkl. How much should I read?
Since it's not taking place during the time that Chell was in the Aperture Science complex, should I just read enough to get the main concepts of the story and what happens during Portal?

-Personality: Hard-headed, closed off, observant, impulsive.

-Portal Colors: Purple and Blue. (If that's possible? I haven't read much yet.)

-Bio: Katrina had not known about the Relaxation Vault and had been forcefully placed inside by her parents. Her mother and father were drivin by science and had raised Katrina for the soul purpose of being a test subject. They didn't think the GLaDOS would take over while their daughter was inside the Vault. Katrina has no idea that her parents are dead, but she holds a strong grudge against them for putting her in this position.

If you are reading about portal on the wiki, Definitely read the "Portals" tab, and maybe look over the "GLaDOS, Wheatley and Cave Johnson" Tabs. They all will be showing up. Chell will just be mentioned or make small appearances.

Seems like a quiet, shy guy. However he is actually blunt and usually rude to new people. Ashton is not one to trust easily, and usually distance himself from meaningful relationships.

-Bio:
Ashton initially wasn't related to Aperture Science in any manner. In fact his home was not the best place for a child, possibly the worst place. He won't go into detail, but it was traumatizing to say the least. Ashton was found by Aperture Science as a willing test subject, his motive was clear he was only in it for the money. They accepted him for his outstanding skill for stealth, however his other skills seem to be lacking compared to the others. Ashton had few interactions with GLaDOs and none of them were pleasant. He barely escaped the deadly neurotoxin, sealing himself into an empty relaxation vault.

-Bio: Being one of the faster more older subjects of Aperture Science he is not exactly very flexible more just faster then others on foot knowing his speed he has one goal...Get out of Aperture

-Other: Relays on insane speed by using his portals as a speed boost (So falling through them then quickly switching to blast out of it
